honest to god what show are some of you watching bc the opinions and scene analyses are so objectively wrong there’s just no way you’re watching the same episodes

yes!! robby can respect al hashimi while simultaneously say out loud that her seizures are effecting her ability to work bc we’ve literally seen it happen in real time all season

abbot telling a man to shut his mouth isn’t out of character that is! his character we’ve always seen night shift quick witted and ignoring the unnecessary pleasantries

the incessant hate and constant berating of these characters and episodes just goes to show some of you are not watching them as intended so maybe stop watching all together

trinity santos is a study in fandom misogyny because they gave her all the characteristics fandoms usually salivate for in men, being gruff, quippy and misunderstood with a tragic backstory but a heart of gold beneath it all. they put all this into her AND let her be a lesbian. she's everything you could ever want in a character but she's not a man so half the fandom either hates her or constantly mischaracterizes her as petty, callous and aggressive while doing mental gymnastics to baby the male characters around her

#3 is not difficult at all. That is a jumper. NOT A SWEATER. A sweater is not ugly unless it is a christmas sweater that is intended to be ugly. That third one is a jumper (or a pullover if you want to be different).

Something I find interesting is that McKay seems to be the only person who consistently sees Javadi as a twenty year old girl.

Robby and Garcia and Shamsi and even Trinity look at Javadi and see the prodigy and they don't question how strange it is for her to be there. We see that in their reactions to Javadi making a mistake which is on par with or even smaller than the mistakes made by her peers. They treat her like in every situation, she should already know exactly what to do. It's not treated like a teaching moment like it is for other med students and interns. She fucked up and should have known better.

But McKay from day one sees Javadi and acknowledges how strange it is for her to be so young and where she is. She behaves almost maternally to her because I think Cassie puts in her a category more akin to Harrison than to her peers. She doesnt expect a level of emotional maturity from her that really doesn't make sense from someone that young. Instead, she talks to her. She actually teaches her instead of just assuming she's a prodigy with all the answers and berating her when she doesn't have them.

I'm glad that Javadi has one person in her corner and I will continue to believe that McKay is the most underrated character on the show.
