[Closed Roleplay: Bully AU]

Alexander had found it less and less unusual to find John in positions that compromised his dignity and well being. Today was no different, he had gotten to the school to find John pushed against a locker by none other than Jefferson, who was saying something to him and wouldn’t let him go, try might John. Alexanders hands balled into fists, he got so tired of this. He wished Jefferson would just leave him alone but if he wouldn’t do that, Alex would have to make him. He stormed over there and tapped Thomas on the shoulder, he turned around with a smug grin. ‘Looks like Alex is here to save his distressed maiden yet again.’ He said but did in fact let John go. Alexander rolled his eyes, “Look Thomas, you need to leave him alone. We’ve talked about this, and if you don’t.. we’ll.. we’ve talked about that too.” Thomas laughed, ‘You really think you’re scary huh? Oh that’s funny sweetie, that’s funny. I’ll go, but.. only cause I’ve got somewhere to be.“ He said and walked away from the two of them giving them a small wave. Alexanders gaze shifted to John, “You alright?”

Laurens stood and rubbed his side. “Yes, I’m fine.” He said. “Thanks again, Alex.” Laurens smiled a little bit. ‘Is your side alright? What happened to it?’ Alexander asked. Laurens shrugged. “He just punched me a few times. I’ll be alright.” Alexander nodded. They got their stuff for their first class and started walking. John and Alex tended to walk side by side since Alexander saved him the first time. They entered their first classroom, which was Math, and sat down. Of course, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison were there.

"You know, I'm not saying I mind protecting you, you know I don't, but.." he glanced at him as they entered the class room. He glanced at the boys and felt an anger rise in the pit of his stomach. "Maybe you should learn to do some stuff on your own.. because I mean.. what if I'm not here one day? If I came back and you were all beat up." He glanced at John as they sat down, "I mean obviously I'd be the one to teach you and if I was still around I'd still help but.." he shook his head, "It's just a suggestion." Hey cool kids, wanna be in an animated short film?? Well I’ve got the perfect opportunity for you, as I need some lead and secondary voice actors for my upcoming student film, Vparty!! In short its a small comedy about an unfortunate dope who accidentally lets a vampire into his crushes halloween party. Hilarity ensues! Below I’ll list out character descriptions and leave a google doc with some sample lines for you to record. Absolutely feel free to audition for as many of the characters below as you feel like, as It’ll give me more options for casting and to get a better idea for your voice range. — Lawsen, male 17 Our hero. And also a huge dope. Very unsuave with the ladies but hankering for some good old fashion love, Lawsen has his eyes on Becca, miss popularity and host of the ongoing party. He’s got a good heart, but he’s just terrible at letting people know about it. Eric, male 18 Professional pizza lover and Lawsen’s best friend since middle school. Eric’s always down to help his hapless buddy, at least when it’s not at the expense of his own enjoyment or popularity. He’s probably just as much of a dork as Lawsen, but he thinks he’s way too cool to admit it. 

Gale, female ??? Innocent party goer, or KILLER VAMPIRE??? At first glance Gale looks like something that crawled out of hot topic discount bin, but she’s a real kicker of a person, both in attitude and actual kicks to the shin. She has a habit of using people to her advantage, and Lawsen’s no exception. Not malicious, but very interested in rustling some jimmies.

Fred, male 20 Freds a real bro. Just not when you’re trying to hook up with his month and a half high school sweetheart, Becca. Fred’s habits involve football, failing math class, and making real cool paper ninja stars. They say he’s been held back more than a few times.

Becca, female 18 Sweet, popular, and loves cats. She has no idea Lawsen even exists, and probably wouldn’t have invited him if she did, in fear of having to put up with his awkward attempts at conversation. Becca’s got more friends than spectators at her lacrosse games (Which is a lot), so it’s needless to say that she throws some pretty sick parties when her parents aren’t in the mix. Alexander had stolen a moment away from work to stow himself away in the bathroom and take off his binder so he could breathe before returning to his duties. Evidently he’d forgotten to lock the door, as he was now caught with his shirt unbuttoned and hands poised to remove the garment constricting his chest. “I swear to god if you tell anyone I’m not a cis guy I’ll kill you,” He said immediately, voice mildly panicked.

Aaron tapped his pen against his desk in thought, pursing his lips as he looked down at the paper in front of him. He bit the end of his pen and finally let it fall to his desk getting up. He figured a few minutes to well, use the restroom, but of also complete quiet to think would get his creative juices flowing. He strolled over to the bathroom, pushing the door open and walking in, stopping just as the door slammed closed. He starred at Alexander as he fiddled with something on his chest. It was quite possible it may not have even clicked with Aaron, had Alexander said nothing, possibly assuming he had gotten hurt, but then again, it may have come to him later, possibly that night as he reviewed the situation. “I..” he started and stopped again, not quite sure what to say. “You’ll kill me?” he said, and tried to think of something witty but all that came out was, “I’m.. Honestly shocked.”

He made a noise something like a laugh and began to button his shirt hastily. “Yeah I pass well,” He grumbled, cursing under his breath as his fingers shook and fumbled on the buttons. “Look Burr, I wouldn’t actually hurt you but- don’t fucking tell anyone. I could lose my job or get killed or something,” He said quickly, giving the other man a pleading look. Anxiety rose steadily in his chest as his mind conjured all of the possible outcome of this situation, none of them good.

He nodded in response to the first few words Alexander said, his mouth still a bit agape. He was correct though, he did pass well. He watched his fingers fumbled and was a bit put off by the action, only because he had never seen Alexander show so much weakness. Aaron listened to him, his.. Threat? Was it technically even  a threat if he had clarified he wouldn’t be hurting him? Hardly. He did think about that situation though, Alexander Hamilton, being fired. Would he prosper without the other man in the office? Would he rise through the ranks? But, the thoughts stoppped there. It would be an empty victory. “I.. I won’t tell anyone, Alexander.” he said though the thought rested in the back of his head. “And you’ve kept this hidden.. All this time? No one knows..?”

“Thank you,” Alexander almost whispered, relief showing clearly in his voice. He had been almost completely sure Burr would turn straight around to report him to their superiors. Perhaps Washington would have handled it well, but he was sure most anyone else- especially Jefferson- would at the very least harass him and the worst assault him upon getting their hands on the information. “You’re the only one,” He confirmed with a nod. “I had all of my legal information changed as soon as I turned eighteen so I guess it wasn’t that hard to hide,” He explained, finishing the rest of the buttons on his shirt and ignoring the ache that was starting to form in his ribs. It would be dangerous to wear the binder much longer, but he had bigger problems now.

“I suppose not.. You’ve gotten this far without being found out.” he said shaking his head. He really did have a lot of power over the man now. He wondered if he would do anything with it. In most situations, he would have taken any chance he could to take Alexander down a notch or two, but this seemed different. This wasn’t just any secret he had stumbled upon. “You know,” he said clearing his throat. “This really would have been totally avoidable if you would have locked the door.” he said glancing towards the door, “If it had been someone else.. They may not have shown you as much kindness as I am right now. Especially after you threatened to kill them.”

“I thought I locked it,” He snapped, frustrated by the mans almost condescending words. He let out a huff of air and pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to form his next words eloquently instead of simply lashing out. “I was scared, Aaron. I’ve had threats on my life made for just existing so excuse me for making empty threats out of panic. And you think I don’t know not everyone would react as well as you, all high and mighty? Why do you think I hide who I am, and then quite literally hide just to breathe deeply for two seconds?” His voice had risen slightly and he found himself unable to contain his anger. “You know- I’m sure you want me gone. It would be better for your career. Go ahead and scream it from the rooftops! Alexander Hamilton is a dirty transsexual!”

“I simply thought you would be more careful with a secret like that.” he said with a small huff. Sure, Alexander’s being upset was perfectly understandable, but Burr wasn’t known for completely understanding Alexander. “There’s no need for you to be getting upset with me like this, all I was saying was that you need to be more careful! Which is not only true but not something you should be getting mad at me for, if anything it just shows that I care for your well being.” he said crossing his arms over his chest. When Alexander began speaking again he rolled his eyes, which widened slightly when he rather loudly proclaimed his secret, and Aaron put his finger to his own lips and made a loud shushing noise. “Are you actually insane, Alexander? These doors and walls are not soundproof.” he said rubbed the bridge of his nose, “And sure, not that I’m admitting to WANTING you gone, but having you gone would benefit my career, but it would hardly be much of a victory. It would be like cheating.”

Alex was an angry crier, and he felt if he didn’t get out of this situation soon he would burst into tears right in front of the other man. “Maybe you’ll get your hollow victory since I’m so loud and irrational,” He hissed, wincing slightly at sudden pain in his chest. Damn Burr for finding him, and damn himself for being to stupid. “And honestly I don’t think you have much of a right to tell me what I should and shouldn’t be upset over. Just- let me get back to work,” He said, anger starting to fizzle into something like resignation towards the end, wiping away unsend tears and massaging his ribs absently to try and ease the pain.

He looked at him and shook his head, “Okay well..” he said and noticed the mans eyes brimming with tears. “Don’t.. be upset, Alexander. I apologize for butting in.” He said and opened the door. “Just.. be more careful.” He said with a nod, “You never know who’s listening.” He said, exiting the bathroom despite still having a need To pee. He sighed lightly, and walked down the hallway, back to his desk and looked down at the paper. His little break had done nothing and if anything he knew what to write even less now. @ask-a-ham

Alexander took a moment to steal himself before returning to his own desk, hardly able to focus or write for the rest of the day. Instead of staying late like he normally would have he actually left on time, catching Burr on the way to his car. “Come get drinks with me,” He said, not phrasing it as a question so much as a demand. He was still paranoid the other man would use his knowledge for leverage at the first opportunity possible, so he thought it best to start trying to win him over. Additionally, he felt almost bad for getting so angry with him earlier in the day. “I’ll even pay for us both,” He added.

Aaron watched the clock the last few minutes of work. He wasn't even considering staying late even a second today. It had been far too eventful. He saw the time on his phone change and he quickly got up, grabbing his keys and walking out to his car quickly. He stopped when he heard a voice and turned towards it, "Alexander?" He asked turning around. He let out a small sigh and thought about the best way to tell him no, but with the offer of free drinks. Well.. he had had a long week, and they were free. He nodded, "Sure." He said licking his lips lightly. "I suppose that would be alright. I'll drive?" He asked with an arched brow. @ask-a-ham
