I’ve thought it over and after reading some suggestions, I’ve decided on either a watch or a bracelet to at least distract enough. I hadn’t even thought of saying I nicked myself on something, that’s such a good idea for a reply. It’s so hard when people get nosy and ask questions about it, so having ready replies makes it easier.

For your wrist issue-maybe a wide bracelet? It doesnt even have fully cover it, just distract from it :) or sometimes you can get away with a pair of fancy gloves, but that depends on the occasion

Exactly, it’s hard to find bracelets that completely cover over it especially because I have really thin, tiny wrists and bracelets slide down. Trying to just distract from it is my best option. I’m going to see if either my watch or a bracelet has a wide enough strap to cover over enough of it. Ooo I love the gloves idea but IDK…I could always suggest it to my friends as a part of the ‘theme’ and see what they say.

About the cut on your wrist - maybe a simple band aid and just say you had a mole taken out or something similar? :)

I’ve picked out a watch that’s got a big strap so I’ll see if that can work. A band aid I might put under it just to make the area not seem red. If the watch doesn’t work, I’ll try just a really small and simple bandaid like you suggested. And if the notice or ask, I think I might just say that I have been scratching my eczema again (they know I get that really bad on my arms). I do have a lot of moles so I could definitely say what you suggested as a safe Plan B.

I normally never talk about this and I don’t want to bother anyone with my problems on this blog but I really need some advice. 

I’m having pictures taken later today and going to be around friends. The dress I’m supposed to wear is a tank top and because it’s a theme thing, I can’t skip wearing it by opting for a long sleeve dress. I made a very small cut on my wrist two or three days ago (I forgot when tbh). Ironically, I’ve been doing so well resisting the urge to cut but now the one week that I’m not ok is the week that I have to be in front of people.

So does anyone have any advice on how to cover up the cut? I’m afraid that makeup will infect it and that definitely can’t happen. I don’t know how to hide it and I’m really stressed. Anyone have any advice for something I can do in the next few hours?
