Dan heng and Phainon having a yearn off throughout the entire fucking amphoreus plot line while ankle biter Ebony Darkness D'mentia RavenMarch (evernight) is out here trying to Make Amphoreus Great Again
“dan heng is so mature/calm/emotionally stable” dan heng has mastered the art of locking his undesirable emotions deep in The Vault and never looking at them again. dan heng is three seconds from crashing out at all times and that rage and anxiety is simmering just below the surface. dan heng cried over his best friends dead body and then when they got up and started talking like normal he decided to just accept it because everything is Fine now. dan heng would commit (and has) unspeakable crimes for those he cares about but will never say “i love you” because that’s too much vulnerability.
but good to know his facade is working i guess!
1800 words of yapping about the Trailblazer, Finality, Trailblaze, Akivili, the Hunters and the AE Crew.. Im really obsessed with them, damn.
all dreams become ash at dawn
hi i’m going insane over Dan Heng’s trailer here are some parallels <3
Hoyoverse make me SICK
Atp please make DanBlazer canon hoyo they make me VIOLENTLY ILL
3.6 spoiler!!
as much as the log feeds us with more dan heng / trailblazer content by confirming the 1000-year wait, can we address the fact the dan heng corroded within his search of an epoch?
bro literally almost lost his life during his search. he treaded dangerously within the memoria tide whilst safeguarding the earth. for a thousand years, he slowly lost his 'humanity' but he persevered by sheer nostalgia, remembering their shared memories. he used his memories of them to sift through the memoria tide for similar memories and that became his lighthouse before eventually leading them out. and he just says, "I can't afford to worry about that anymore." no, dan heng, certainly WE worry. no, you cannot lay this bombshell at us and expect us to just get over it. simply, no.
i just know, dan feng is laughing his ass off at his reincarnation right now.
Ancient Sacred Tree, lend me your roots. With space as my map and time as my compass, I will find that one singular point. Even if I must cross every mountain and valley on my own two feet, I will bring you home.

This animation gave me a feeling of a heavy heart and i teared up during this scene.
he's been through so much omg.. and the way they connected soul to soul like omfg yearner final boss are you kidding
3.6 SPOILERS
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS???
Does no one find it strange that the trailblazer doesn't have a lightcone?
Like i get it that there are male and female trailblazer and they can't have one featured on a lightcone without the underlying suspicion that both Caelus and Stelle exist in the same universe. (I mean if there were 2 receptacles in the beginning of the game, who's to say the unchosen mc isn't just in a cryosleep and might wake up later on?) but anyways, other than the obvious answer, doesn't anyone find it strange?
Could there be a deeper lore regarding this? Or do the devs just not want to have a lightcone for each mc and just have the account with Stelle get the Stelle LC and vice versa??
it's strange and at the same times it's not.
On a pure game design and mechanics, it's not worth it: at the beginning there was a clear difference in personality between Stelle and Caelus (you could hear it and see it in their ultimate in their Destruction and Preservation paths), then the devs decided to make Harmony and Remembrance paths for both Trailblazers the same. And it doesn't make any sense since in the few animated shorts where you can see both Trailblazers they have clear and defined different personalities (they are both trash racoons, but of two different vibes). Making a lightcone with one of them on it, can have some backlash because people will judge and would make the wrong assumptions etc. Twitter drama for a image. Probably they are going to reserve it as an anniversary gift for the 5/10th year, if we ever reach it.
Now on the lore part: thank you for remembering that at the beginning there were two receptacles.
In lore a lightcone is created by refined memory fragments. They are made by the Garden of Recollection (who are very sus by the way), which are the ones who sell the most (Herta is selling her version of lightcones which are made by the refined memory of an Aeon, they are the lightcones of the Aeon, Herta is seriously messing around).
We have lightcones with all the characters, be it 5 or 4 star. Even people from a different world, like Saber and Archer, or people from a closed world, like Belobog and Amphoreus (the first was closed from any kind of interastral travel because of the Stellaron, the second was literally hidden with the Garden unable to enter and asking other people to do it for them) have lightcones. Even Pom-pom has two! Pom-pom who no one know what they are!
So, by this logic it's really strange that Stelle/Caelus don't have their own lightcone or that they haven't seen one yet.
Maybe the Garden is unable to make a lightcone with them (there is something about it, like the Garden asking their help for a research of memory which lead to having the Memory of Chaos), maybe someone at the Garden is taking all of their lightcones.
But it doesn't make sense: if the Trailblazer is such an entity that lightcones can't be made from their memory a Memokeeper like Black Swan would have say something about it (not explicitly, but implied somehow).
And the Trailblazer became "special" only after Kafka's choice, after the Stellaron. And it's heavy implied that the Trailblazer worked/lived alongside the Stellaron Hunters but if they did, even the other receptacle did, at the same time. (But the other Stellaron Hunters haven't said a thing about another grey-haired kid that followed Kafka around, could it be a retcon?) Now it's clear that the Trailblazer doesn't remember at all their live before the Stellaron, Kafka did a good job, but all of this lost memory must have gone somewhere. The Garden witnesses everything because Fuli will watch everything (their task is to literally record everything), so it's impossible for these memories to be lost forever.
We don't know a lot of the Garden and hopefully in the new version and Trailblazer Mission with Evernight they will explain something about it.
Sorry if it is too long and definitely not organised, but OP gave me something to think about and I couldn't resist.
Thank you for giving me food for thoughts to mull over during my work break
This is exactly why it's so strange to me, the whole circumstances surrounding our loss of memory then waking up as a new person with a stellaron (who nobody seems to recognise except the stellaron hunters) like even the IPC should have records or a bounty on them if they were previously a hunter as implied. They haven't been even awake that long, like only 2-3 years which also implies that their history with the hunters isn't that far back into the past. While it got confirmed we were a part of the SH before Silver Wolf joined but we can't know for sure when SW joined the team.
I find it very very hard to believe that no one from the Garden of Recollection or the IPC can recognise TB at all, even Black Swan peered into our memories and our past and didn't even mention if there was like a veil on our past memories like March for example, she didn't question anything.
Additionally, when Fu Xuan peered into Kafka's memories, she didn't seem to recognise us from her memories or something, i know she technically looked into the SH plans specifically but you get my point.
There is something very suspicious surrounding the TB's memory erasure, and i think it might be related to the Garden similar to March. Kafka's spirit whisper couldn't possibly be this powerful to erase our memories completely and erase everyone else's. Unless, it's not Kafka who erased our memories and we're being led to believe shes the one who did it.
Another runner theory I have, is that we had a fully different identity prior to the stellaron being put in us. We can't be really sure if we are actually a synthetic being or no, but it can explain that we were once a real person who died and their bounty got dropped, and their consciousness got transferred to a synthetic being, that could explain why no one questioned our past or managed to peer into it. But then again wouldn't someone like Screwllum or Lygus point out that we are a synthetic being??
I really really hope we get to look into TB's past more

Ninja fever...
Alright guys, gather round. 3.6 preview arrived and it's time we address Dan Heng, because that guy's wilding out there and I need to voice my observations on this lizard and his relationship with the raccoon.
Like... I've been aware this since the 1.X patch cycle. Everyone knows that Dan Heng immensely cherishes his companions and he sees himself primarily as the Astral Express' guard beyond that cool exterior of his. There's nothing out of the ordinary with that.
But when it comes to Stelle specifically, he acts VERY differently. And it's absolutely fascinating to watch.
See, he's a troubled soul with his fair share of problems regarding freedom and redemption. He spent a good part of his life since birth in jail, then the rest in exile. Only recently he began feeling like he had a place to belong, a place that didn't chain him down, and only recently he felt comfortable enough to outwardly admit the Express crew as his loved ones.
And, among his loved ones, he seems to see the Trailblazer specifically as a personification of all those things he gained. Stelle is a free, unbound soul who is confident in seeking the life she wants and doesn't let anything stop her from grasping it, even with a muddy past. I think having her as companion emboldens Dan Heng to finally live as himself and strive for the things he never thought he could have before.
You can see it in their interactions overall. Dan Heng is pretty clearly indulgent with Stelle: he lets her act as silly as she wants, prompts her to explore places, lets her take initiative during interactions with others, checks on her mental well-being, is always ready to shield her from danger, shares his stuff pretty easily, the list goes on. When I noticed these little things, I realized that Dan Heng constantly prioritizes not only her safety but also her happiness.
It's like... For him, she's a star of hope illuminating his path, and he wants her to shine as brightly as she possibly can at all times. We saw in the Penacony storyline that Dan Heng feels immensely fortunate to have his Nameless companions and dreams of journeying with them forever, and that results in his current relationship with the Trailblazer.
Here's the thing, though: he seems really wary of crossing some lines.
It's funny how contradictory he seems at times. He's introverted and gets embarrassed when Stelle acts affectionate. He's so vocal about his affection it hurts, though. He refuses when Stelle wants a hug. It's fine when he takes the initiative to hold hands, though. He's a-okay when talking about his past nowadays. Stelle can't go meet the High-Cloud Quintet with him though, that's a no-no.
So what then, you big salamander. Is it fine when you do it, but not when she does it? What's the hold-up?
It's almost like he's intentionally keeping their relationship in some sort of vague ambivalence. A relationship where Dan Heng can watch from the side as Stelle is as safe and happy as she can possibly be, and where he is actively making her so, but rejects all her attempts of returning the favor. It's some fine shoujo manga shit, I'll tell you. Dannie clearly stands on the shoulders of the giants before him.
Here's where the real hilarity comes in, though: there's one thing about his relationship with Stelle that Dan Heng absolutely won't let go of. Something he's not handing over to anyone in a million years.
It's the right to live by her side.
I mentioned Dan Heng's dream in Penacony before, and the truth that dream presents is: Dan Heng wants to stay beside Stelle forever. It's non-negotiable. He wants to be the person she instinctively relies on, the one she tells everything to, the one who always protects her as she paves the way forward, the one who she comes back to. He wants to have an unshakable, everlasting position in her life.
The shenanigans get so funny. Remember when he instantly shot down Aventurine's poaching attempt in that one anniversary review event? His (not very) implicit dislike of Stelle inheriting the Coreflame of Time and becoming tied to Amphoreus? The constant emphasis on the fact he'll forever remain her companion? He hates the idea of Stelle leaving his side sooooo much. Sure, it's not weird that he's desperate for her safety, but there's some definite entitlement mixed in and it makes me laugh whenever he rejects her affection.
Like, what the hell do you even want, my man? If you're gonna act like that, at least go all the way?? How long do you think she's going to play along with your back-and-forth??? Or what, are you really THAT confident you two are inseparable? That's scary.
As a last, very related note, I urge anyone who reads this to search the meaning of 彼氏面. You'll laugh, I promise.
"All shall bid farewell to one, and that person alone will witness the miracle"
I love and hate amphoreus plot 😭😭😭
Is Hoyo teasing a possible Trailblazer Skin in the near future?
I could be reaching but these "hints", if you could call them that, really sold the deal for me.
Firstly, I would like to say that this post will contain very mild spoilers to 3.5 and leaks for 3.6
A really funny aspect of PhaiStelle to me is how it fills me with an almost morbid fascination. Like, I want to extract samples of Phainon's behavior concerning Stelle and analyze it.
Phainon's a very multifaceted man, for starters. He changes a lot depending on time, place, occasion and person. It is a deliberate writing decision to have him like that.
Amphoreus' Phainon is the Deliverer dedicated to save all. Okhema's Phainon is a charming celebrity. Aglaea and Tribios' Phainon is a deeply scarred kid who's trying his best everyday. Anaxa's Phainon is a cheeky, brilliant student. Mydei's Phainon is a hilariously mean and competitive guy. Castorice's Phainon is a friend who can be casual with her.
Stelle's Phainon is an... Interesting individual.
He's clingy. Embarrassingly clingy. "Puppy love" feels like an understatement. I don't think he's conscious of how clingy he is. It's always "partner" this, "let's become heroes together" that, he does NOT want to be separated from her at all. Seeing him all anxious about the Nameless leaving after Aglaea's interrogation (and the fact she factored that reaction in, lmao) was quite the show, really.
He's also exceedingly sappy. Nauseatingly sweet. The Fate/Stay Night event actually proved he's so sappy he managed to embarrass the Trailblazer. Do you know what a monumental feat that is? It would be one thing if it was just him fucking around like he does sometimes with his other friends, but looking at his behavior in the story, I fear it's genuine. Don't even get me started with that "hero of my heart" shit, it's a whole separated conversation.
Also, the admiration. It hurts. It hurts to watch. Even leaving Phainon's (or Khaslana's, damn this man and his identity crisis) massive lack of self-worth aside, I can barely handle the way this man speaks about Stelle. It's the kleptomaniac raccoon I've been watching since game launch, stop talking about her like she parted the seas to let your people pass. That was Dan Heng, anyway.
And if this all wasn't already enough, he wants to be Yearnatron 3000 too. When I did the 3.4 Mission I was like, "Oh, the hero of his heart, what a cute quip" and then someone in that writing team decided to bash that sentence against my head repeatedly until I understood that no, it wasn't just a random cute quip, he meant that shit. And "he" refers to the guy who's been reliving the same tragedy for thirty million or so cycles. What do you mean Stelle is Khaslana's image of what a real human being should be. That's not something you can just tell me in the fucking backlogs, Lygus. Elaborate.
Also, while I can still get the whole thing with Khaslana, Phainon already considered her his hero even before he inherited the memories. What Does That Mean. I Do Not Understand. Please Tell Me How That Works.
This kinda devolved into an insane rant, but the point is: I kinda get Lygus a little. Just a little. Really just a little.
