“Meet KISS’ Newest Drummer” - 16 Magazine [November 1980]

One thing that I love about 16 Magazine is how it treated KISS like a boy band and absolutely loved to list all of the likes/dislikes on each member of the group. This “interview” with Gene is no different as we learn that The Fox likes The Clash and The Beatles, watches Bugs Bunny cartoons, eats “all the milk and cookies [he] can find”, wears contacts, and describes himself as an honest person.

Best of all is the question about dealing with the fans romantically:

“Gene: Have you ever dated a fan?

Eric: I’m always glad to meet the fans and possibly continue in a social situation.”

Indeed.
