“Alrighty, let’s do this one last time. My name is Jack, and for the last.. I dunno, two years, probably? I’ve been the one and only Spider-Dude. You probably know the gist by now. I got bitten by a radioactive spider, gained some crazy powers, and made it my mission to protect the people of New York. I was never really that fashionable- and I didn’t know how to sew. So instead of fashioning an entire suit, I bought a mask from a thrift store. Of course, I adjusted it to fit my theme. I thought it would do the job just fine and properly protect my identity.

I was.. wrong. Somebody figured it out. Somebody with.. bad intentions. My Aunt was murdered. I ended up doing something that I regret. After that, I made a vow to save as many people as possible to make up for my mistakes.

I left the old me behind. I ran away, stopped going to to school. Found a decent place to hole up in when I wasn’t kicking ass. Disappearing was pretty easy too, especially since I was the quiet kid in the back of class. I didn’t have many friends, so there weren’t people that would worry about me when I was gone.

I kinda stopped being ‘Jack’. Which is a good thing, I think. There’s no secret person to discover behind the mask if I just.. become the mask.. Right? It’s not like there’s time for Jack anymore anyways. Crime never sleeps.

Ever since, I’ve been the ass-kicking, crime-fighting, kick-flipping badass that New York deserves. It may get lonely, but I still love what I do. That’s why no matter how hard or how many times I’m hit.. I always get back up. And you better bet I do it in style.”
