Iori: I wonder how an author would introduce me in a story?
Billy: “And then there's this asshole.”
@alekkusu / starter call
“You!” Billy’s voice was accusatory, agitated. He didn’t like the blond’s looks one bit, and he wasn’t the type to beat around the bush. The bodyguard hardly ever left South Town, but when it came to important business abroad, Geese took him along for the ride. Business like whatever was happening in New York where the crime boss needed Billy to be his surveillance while deals were happening behind closed doors. Loud, busy streets made chaos the norm, but this was an alleyway and the average tourist hardly wandered in. But this blond guy was tall. Built. Dangerous.
“Get lost!”

// given the current social climate, i do want to say i stand with blm and acab, and i thoroughly believe that action and participation is necessary to defend the civil rights of those who’s lives are in consistent and systematic danger. i won’t use this platform to promote awareness or information given in regards to those movements since i’ve done so on other platforms with more relevant reach & interest. just thought i’d like to put that forth since i want to show solidarity with the movement and will not be silent on important social matters on all of my social media platforms.

“You’re always all talk and no bite, Yagami! You’re going to pay for humiliating me all those years ago. Don’t think I’d ever let that go! Your ego stopped me from completing my mission!” Billy snarled.
It was hard for him to not take it so personally. It was a rare occasion where his weakness had been revealed, and he’d recognize that he was no match, not even in the same category as Iori. This, however, only fueled his desire to one day repay Iori in kind, with added interest.

He likes the way his name rolls off the other’s tongue. It’s not often he hears accents outside of Japanese and Russian. A nice change of pace. Although, this all feels FAINTLY familiar. Ah! Billy reminds him of his own secretary when it comes to doing his bidding: unwilling, but the money is good. Company is company; taking it however he can get it.
❝I won’t bore you to tears with the details. Put simply: we have a couple of quick stops to make before the job is done. Gotta make sure EVERYTHING is in place. I’m sure you understand.❞
One wrong move, and his neck is on the chopping board. That’s the exciting part! Even if he does royally mess up, there’s insurances he set in place that another can atone for any mistakes. It’s not like he actually faces the consequences of his own actions all that often. Perhaps it’s made him a bit COCKY. Izaya would argue that it’s simply a part of his charm.
He waved a hand to beckon the blond to begin following him. Despite being a part of the criminal underworld, he walked among law-aiding citizens as if he is one of them. Openly, he waltzed down the busy sidewalks of the city with his new acquaintance. Brown hues flickered upward, observing that his office building is merely a few blocks away.
❝There’s gonna be a suitcase waiting for me to pick up. Think you can haul it? Might be kind of heavy.❞
“Good, since I’m not really a details type of guy,” Billy responded in kind, noting that his newfound charge has something of a humorous side to him. The pace of the conversation suited him alright, not finding Izaya that annoying yet as the blond followed the other along the busied streets. He held onto his staff, wondering if it was best to fold and hide it. It was a stick, an unassuming red pole, but the trained eye could see it was martial arts weapon. Opting to hide it, he walked and folded it into three partitions, pulling it into his jacket. Feeling empty handed, he stuffed his hands into his pockets and fiddled with the loose change he had.
“If we’re takin’ detours, I gotta keep track of them for our side of things. The boss will hold me accountable for these kinds of things. Hope you don’t mind. As for luggage, I can do the heavy lifting.” His eyes wandered Izaya’s frame, figuring the other man wasn’t exactly the physical type to be lifting heavy suitcases anyway. Billy knew he was the muscle and liked it that way.
“If it’s a bomb though and you dip, just letting you know I’ve got good aim.” he smirked.
Fighting or Sparring: Sentence Starters
(a mix, for either a serious throw-down or a friendly spar)
“Fine, I accept your challange!”
“Sorry but I won’t take it easy, not even with you.”
“There will be no mercy.“
“Power without idea isn’t justice.“
“Just give up already.”
“You know what will happen if you lose…”
“What?! B-but, how?!”
“I have awaited this day, for too long.”
“Is there no other way?“
“Go ahead and struggle!”
“Over already?“
“Do you want to die that badly?“
“This may be worthwhile after all.”
“Hm? I guess that was too much…“
“Don’t push yourself, Training will do no good with a broken limb.”
“Is something distracting you?”
“You’ve got some guts… for a fool.“
“Is this the best you can do?”
“I’ll play with you for a little while.“
“You haven’t progressed at all. Focus.”
“Damn… I messed up.“
“You keep slipping up. You’re making easy mistakes.”
“It’s training now, but soon it could be a life or death situation.”
“Nothing will come of hate.“
“You can’t fight this with strength alone.”
“You’re wasting my time.”
“You still have a lot to learn.”
“That’s two out of three that I’ve gotten the upper hand.”
“You need to take this more seriously!”
“You’re still too weak.”
“Beg for mercy before me!“
“I didn’t mean to hurt you…”
“Kneel before me.”
“There won’t be anything left of you when I’m done.”
“I’ll make you regret ever crossing me.”
“Know your place.”
“You and me. Let’s go.”
“A fight with me is too dangerous.”
“You don’t know what you’re getting into.”
“Fine, you asked for it.”
“This should be easy.”
“So, you wanna fight?”
“Just to let you know, I’ve never lost a fight.”
“This is the end for you!”
“Feisty one, eh? Not bad.”
“Not bad, but you can do better.”
“I’m not here to play with you.”
“I’ve got you pinned.”
“You could hardly stand, it’s over.”
“There, are you satisfied now?”
“You really thought you could win? How cute.“
“This place, will be your grave.”
“Your suffering will be over in a moment.”
“Did you really expect me, to yield to the likes of you?”
“Mark my words… I will kill you and I’ll be after your friends next.”
“Hmph. You don’t change much, do you?“
“I’ll wipe that grin off your face.”
“Defeat me and ‘maybe’ I’ll tell you where your friend is.”
“It wasn’t a question, you need to take a break. We’ve been going at it for hours.”
“I’m telling you, there’s no chance of you beating me.”
“Look dollface, I don’t have time to play.”
“Just cause you’re cute, I’ll take it easy on you.”
“I’ll fight with one hand behind my back, see? Swing away.”
“You’re really cute when you’re mad.”
“Good, you’re holding up well.”
“Don’t get distracted, not even for a moment. Don’t avert your eyes.”
“Push yourself beyond your limits.”
“Your shoulders are tense. Don’t overthink it. Loosen up.”
“Feel like running away?”

Southtown Underworld Team
@blcwclf
The one night that Billy was allowed a day of rest in the last month (with the provision of being on call should Geese need him) is the night where he recognizes the quality of his rotten luck when his is the face that the Brit recognizes seated in the dimly lit bar.
“What are you still doing in South Town, anyway?” he calls from behind Terry before placing a hand against the bar, looking at the blond seated quietly on the barstool. “Don’t let me catch you near the tower, punk,” he warns before attempting to flag down the bartender. Billy doesn’t know why he felt the need to interact with Terry, given their history. Perhaps he was just that pissed off to find his night off to be potentially already ruined.
