With every year that goes by I become more my true self 💟 2022 was a hibernation year for me although that didn’t really mean I had tons of time to rest. Many obstacles and challenges were thrown at me, sometimes by my own hand, and most times I didn’t have an option but to handle life one day at a time. Not everything was negative though! I also got a lot of opportunities that helped me grow as an artist and overall human being. A lot of this experiences have inspired some of my plans for this new year. I know life may throw some curveballs, but all I can do this 2023 is do the best I can! Learning, creating and sharing will always be my motive and every day I’m thankful for my husband, my family, my friends, and every single person reading this for making it all worthwhile. I’m really proud to have accompanied my husband @matthew_hughes32 to this year’s @bostonmusicawards and celebrate the nomination of his band @papertigersusa for rock artist of the year! Plus I had a blast watching some of my favorite local artists perform and receive awards while also discovering a few new local acts. “The Demolition Lovers” 🖤🥀 I had an absolute BLAST at MCR on Weds and Thurs. Some of you may know that I purchased my tickets before the world stopped in 2020. This concert was a symbol of hope and inspiration to me during the last 2 years and I’m so grateful that we made it this far 💔. I was able to attend both with my hubs Matt on Day 1 and my bro-in-law Zach on Day 2! 🖤 Here are a few highlights: 1. Our “Helena” inspired outfits 🖤❤️ I believe we were the only ones who went ALL OUT with our outfits (someone even offered cash for Matt’s tie 💀) I’m just happy my husband is willing to join me and my crazy creative impulses. I told him my idea and he just went with it. Not everyone has what it takes to do this like Matt Hughes does! 😍 2. MCR being responsible (they actually passed down bottles of water to the people in the pit and asked everyone to back up when they noticed people were getting too crammed in the front. Just one more reason to love MCR 🖤) 3. We are the kids from yesterday! ✨One of the most epic moments of the Thursday show (and my life probably) You might not like MCR but I bet you can’t get thousands of people to do this at a stadium unless you‘be achieved at least some level of GREATNESS (and that’s why this was so inspiring to me ❤️) 4. Me being all excited with (or to?) Zach during the MCR “noise” show intro 🤩💥 5. Three cheers for the vacuum cleaner 💀 (these events wouldn’t be possible without the staff and crew!) 6. Yes, I got to see Black Swan Gerard live 🦢 (some says he is “The Nightman Cometh” but who knows?!) 7. The fan next to us and their TBP jacket 😍 we had to get a picture with them 8. “Cancer” encore on day 2 (you better believe I ugly cried and nothing compares to that level of emotional damage 🥲) That’s all! “Horsepower” is a sand sculpture by Maxim Gazendam (Netherlands) that I saw last week at the Sand Sculpting Festival in Revere.
