Suddenly saw the pics and wanted to post a little magical AU here 🖤 Who said that the guys from "NaPolA" can't be funny? And yeah, yeah, there is no propaganda of anything apart from papillons.

Vogler:

In some cases (a look at Friedrich) it is useful in open combat. So, all focuse on your inner state and turn into an animal. If the first trial turns out to be messy, do not be scared. The feathered, furred and other irregular limbs will be amputated without pain and used in research for the benefit of the Magical Reich. So let's get it started. Heil Hitler"

The boys, having saluted, trembling, begin to puff up and turn in all kinds of creatures. Albrecht from the first attempt turns into a little rogue and back. Frederick, amused and finding it cute, then seriously nodes to Vogler and turns into a papillon for all to laugh. Quickly turns back, arms and legs are normal, but the boys are still giggling.

“Friedrich ... Your ears ...” Albrecht says, holding back a laugh, and Fried understands that the dog ears-wings of a butterfly on his head can be given the Great Magical Reich for research.

Vogler:

"So, okay, anough for today. Weimer ... you come to boxing tomorrow. Now go get some sleep"

"Will I have my ears amputated in sleep?!" Frederich almost covers them with his hands.

“Nobody's gong to amputate you anything, Lord, one can't have fun with you,” passing to the exit, Vogler scratches Frederick behind the ear.

"But wear a hat. And the rest of you too, do not catwalk with your unturned limbs. Wear caps, hats, gloves, boots, if you still have something to wear it on ... The lesson is over. Everybody's free"

Everyone is relieved. Friederich:

"Well, he had his fun"

Albrecht:

"Yeah" and also scratches Friedrich behind the ear.

Summary: 

Britain is still an empire with prosperous colonies, ruling Governors, and commanding Commodores.

EITC Director for West Africa Cutlena Beckett arrived in the Caribbean with two directives: 1. End the piracy threat against the company and Crown holdings. 2. Assess the fitness for command of Commodore James L. Norrington who has lost two ships in two years.

Cue old flames, media management, naval warfare, dissolute pirates, and nagging attraction where failure is met with life ending consequences. A modern POTC AU.

All inspirational credit is due to @hannanemo for her great modern James Norrington Post. And she has since been awesome enough to create a modern Theodore Groves. Look forward to seeing what she does with Fem!Cutler Beckett!

He is the most petient and easy-going one from the HMS Dauntless officers. Mostly calm, always friendly. Likes sport, especially surfing and boxing, also does workout regularly because Greg Ellis does workout regularly, check out his body!. Learned guitar while being in spanish captivity when he was a midshipman and loves to play it. Fan of Capitain Jack Sparrow. If he ever meets him they'll rock the Caribbean.

It's inspired me to a 100+ page fic & I wanted to ask: 1) When I post it sometime, are you agreeable with me crediting you by blog name as the inspiration? ~James in the Royal Navy College~

Plot (sort of):

He is the best, in sciences, in fencing, in shooting, in everything. It’s just like that. And if he is not the best he’ll do his best to be the best. So it should be, he is the sole son of the great Admiral Lawrence Norrington. It’s College times when the vanity of James Norrington begins to grow and flourish. But you should give him credits: he studies really hard. Too hard sometimes. So that he often misses parties of his classmates and being a kind of Mr. Do-the-right-thing predestines that crazy and silly moments of youth, which his classmates are so eager to collect, pass him by. Because of all this it is hard for him to find true friends. And yes, he is horrible with girls. But, thankfully, he’s not the only one golden boy in the College. Also others know him as a reliable, honest, spirited and very confident young man, ready to help if you’re in trouble. So he has a company to chat and spend time with. In the meantime James dreams of the sea, a fast ship and a real long voyage. The pressure of his name and his father’s will gnaws at him day after day. And he has had enough of theory, what he lacks is praxis. And he yearns to get it. To bad that it will be a real problem after his graduation: Captains do not usually need inexperienced “college boys” in real and dangerous voyages. And being a nanny for some Admiral’s child is not what they dream of either.

And another little sort-of-plot:

James is around his 8-10 years. He lives with his parents in a grand house with a large garden. Already, under his father’s influence, he begins to love ships, marvel about going to the sea and have adventures. He is a bright boy, learns fast and is already taken to geography and mathematics. Though restrained and sometimes quiet, young Norrington already proves himself as a leader in the games with other kids. His future is settled: in several years he goes to the Royal Navy College to become part of the Navy as an officer when he grows up.

I’ve not mused about who could play young James Norrington till I once have seen a post on Devianart with a foto of little Asa Butterfield (that’s not him on the picspam) and than some videos on Youtube with the young “Gotham” star David Mazouz (that’s him on the picspam). And I fell for him. I mean, look at this! It’s a 100% likelihood! Postures, allure, mimicking, even faces are alike. Well, yes, yes, David has bigger ears, but who cares about such nonsense?

Characters: James Norrington, Lawrence Norrington

Plot: When Vice-Admiral Lawrence Norrington for the first time recognized what his offspring is worth.

Authors note: I decided to call Mrs. Norrington Florance cause I love the name and the woman doesn't have any in the books. And I apologize in advance for mistakes which are highly possible here. Don't really know if it's good so reviews are highly appreciated :3

The recognition dawned on Lawrence suddenly. It happened when he saw James and the two children of the Beleville family putting back a heavy wooden case with toys while the adults himself included sipped on their tea. The case was heavy for 4 year olds and, expectably, it fell from their arms, and directly on James' fingers. It hit them silently, with the sharp angle and all heaviness. The boy stirred, and Lawrence, never too found of children and never having been really close to his own one, halfexpected whines and tears to come. He frowned. But instead what he saw was quite different: James didn't make a sound. He only looked at his fingers, where crimson read blood already started to come up from bellow his nails. One looks like this at an insect which may be annoying but is nothing to worry about because can be easily shooed away. A shoo was the quick movement with which little James swiftly put the hit fingers in his mouth and gestured to the silent and unsure Belevilles to put up the heavy case once again before aiding them with his healthy hand. Everything happened quite and quick, simple and noone of other adults noticed anything, not even the always caring mother, Florance, who this one time was too engaged in a conversation with Mrs. Beleville. Routine as it was, the moment told Lawrence more than all 4 years of his fatherhood: James didn't fear pain. James didn't show it. James could overcome it. By himself. Like Lawrence himself. It was strange for the Vice-Admiral to recognise suddenly, maybe for the first time, because of such a tiny and seemingly meaningless occasion, that one little neatly dressed human being in the room was truly his continuity. Not because he carried his name. Not because he was his flesh and blood. But because there was not a sound made when this blood came from the wound.

For the rest of the tea party Lawrence gave thoughtfull looks to little James now and then, which was not left unnoticed by his wife. Knowing Lawrece's attitude towards children and sensing a sudden change in behavioir of her husband, she tentatively asked if everything was alright and if he has noticed something going on with James she should know.

- Nothing to be worried about, my dear, - Lawrence answered, while trying hard to hide a rare smirk. For some reasons he wanted the little episode of today to be a secret, his and his son's.
