How many people can say "my partner in crime is my mother." Not many... You taught me how to be silly, to always smile, have fun, not take life extremely seriously and to always follow your heart. I might have taken what you taught me and ran the completely opposite direction you were intending me to go but in the long run...... I think I kind of got it figured out. My two part Mother's Day post. This is my grandma. She is one of the 3 reasons I moved back to Arizona. I don't get to see this side of her anymore but I will always remember this side of her. She was stern yet playful, serious but also silly. She didn't really like to talk much on the phone, but as a kid I use to look forward to the short conversations. ( now as an adult I get to look forward to the same type of conversations with my father ) she didn't always like the decisions I made but was always around to shake her head at me when those decision ended up extremely stupid. We now spend ours days just sitting and watching tv. I talk to her and she sometimes just looks at me and in those moments I just picture times like these.
