Au where Tony stark has a son instead of a daughter during the blip. He names the kid Peter, after the son child he lost during the blip.

Peter coming back after the blip to see the child Tony named after him and feeling a weird sense of.. jealousy….? Guilt? Regret? For something he couldn’t change? Something entirely out of his hands?

Peter harboring a slight resentment towards little Petey. Hearing stories about petey and wishing that could be him Tony’s talking about.

Little petey, after growing up on Spider-Man and Peter stories looking up to Parker like a big brother.

But also resenting him, just slightly. Because no matter how much his father loves him, even in just his name he forever lives in Peter’s shadow. Hearing stories about Peter and wishing he could be him, because his father seems to endlessly praise that boy, to miss that boy, to wish he was that boy.

Tony dying in endgame. Peter sobbing into pepper’s shoulder. Little petey sobbing into pepper’s arms. Peter, knowing better than petey on how to handle grief, teaching him ways to cope. How to keep Tony’s memory alive. Them bonding over his memory.

Peter becoming an older brother. Petey stepping out of his shadow.

And suddenly pepper has two sons.

And then she doesn’t, and she can’t seem to remember who Petey was named after.
