Need Support
It has been a while since I have been here. I come and go once in a while to try to get active again and I get very intimidated. I am very ashamed to admit it, but I do.
I have been jumping in and out of the wagon a LOT lately. I am so ashamed about it... I feel like a hypocrite coming here and pretending I’m doing well
I don’t know how to get back on to doing what I was doing so well... I keep just overeating and eating when I am not supposed to
Please, let me know if you have been through this and what you recommend I do to try to get back into doing things well...

OH HAIL, PROTEIN REVELATION!
So, its been a little over a year since my RNY gastric bypass and I have not been able to find a protein shake/drink I can actually stick to drinking. Everything I have tried has had either horrible taste, nasty texture, or just simply didn’t sit well with my belly.
BUT, prepare for my revelation!
I have already finished 1 tin of this and I wanted to make sure I really enjoyed it before I let you guys know about it.
This is the protein powder:
*THIS ONE IS NOT SUGAR-FREE BECAUSE MY STORE DIDN’T HAVE IT, BUT I HAVE SINCE THEN ORDERED THE SUGAR-FREE ONE* -The protein is super easy to digest, and doesn’t have that strong whey protein taste many others do.
However, I don’t like it enough on its own and so I do the following:
-3/4 cup water w/ 2 scoops of protein powder (20g) -3/4 cup soymilk w/ 2 more scoops of powder (another 20g) -Two table spoons of “No Sugar Added Nesquik” SHAKESHAKESHAKE
TA-DA! Delicious creamy yet light protein shake with 40g of protein that will last you all morning and you will enjoy! (in my opinion ;) )

Did you have to go on a liquid diet before or after surgery if so what did you drink ?
Hi! I just saw this! I am so sorry!
I only had to do a liquid diet after the surgery. The first week is what are called “clear liquids”. So it was basically anything like water, powerade zero, chicken broth with no oil or anything, tea with no caffein as well as jello. Week two was same liquids but starting to have more like yogurt, veggie puree soup, milk, and protein shakes.

Shame Happens
Hey guys! I have been the worst tumblrerner (is that a word?) in the world. I feel like I have been eating like mad... I find myself thinking about food all the freaking time.
I feel like a total hypocrite coming on here and being “positive” if I can’t be doing well... However, I forgot how supporting and positive it can be to go on here and inspire myself from other’s awesome stories.
I’ve become really ashamed of the food I eat and I need to work on that. I find myself at a supermarket EVERY DAY. I go to get aaaanything I can. Usually that means cookies, crackers, and cereal that won’t give me dumping right away. I also get no sugar added dried fruit often, but even though I know these are actual good snacks I still feel like shit from feeling I need them or driving to a supermarket just to buy them.
This is getting long and ranty, so I’ll stop here and I will write soon (promise).

Hey guys!! I've a horrible tumblr person lately. I have been going crazy with school and I tried to not go on social media for a bit. However, I just wanted to share that sometime this week I will be attending an OA (overeater anonymous). I am quite excited and also very nervous. Hope you guys are having a good week! Please let me know if you've gone to one of these! :) I've been feeling like crap with my eating and thinking about food all day. I hope this will help; even if its just a little bit.
