One of the things I love the most about reading used books, is the evidence of the people who read it before you. Sometimes its small, like the crack in the spine or the fold of the pages. Sometimes its scribbled notes. Rarely, its the items left inside the book and I got an interesting one in the current book I am reading which is Phantoms by Dean Koontz. Tucked into the start of Chapter 31 was this folded piece of paper:
Makes you wonder, was this planned for this book? Was this a note to someone they loved reading it? Or was this a random act? Either way, it was lovely surprise.

the horrors persist but so do books, art, hot chocolate, winter nights, the moon, the sea, the stars, sunsets, literature, libraries, cats, flowers, stories, love and the wistful feeling you get when you finally return home

What really sucks about Tech’s death is that we get a glimpse of what his life could have been like outside of the fighting and hiding. He could have been a speed racer, using his technical knowledge to outshine and outrace the competition. He could have joined Phee in her adventures, learning new things with each artifact they found together. Heck, he could have married Phee and helped to raise a beautiful family on Pabu - or not, if they preferred not to have children. We’ll never know.
Tech could have had a wonderful life, if he had just been allowed to live.
3 years
Three years today since the airing of the Bad Batch season 2 finale, Plan 99
Three years today since the incredible composition of “The Sacrifice” by Kevin Kiner was released
And finally. Three years today since one of my favourite clones sacrificed himself for his brothers, thus beginning over a year of my denial until the show ended and he was still gone.
RIP Tech. I love you always <3

hello I am at my wits end and I need to know something. Do you talk to your mother every day?
Yes
No
No nuance. If you don’t have a mother/are no contact etc this is not a poll for you.
You can elaborate as to how often you feel is a regular amount of communication between an adult child and their mother.
contrary to social media developers’ beliefs i have literally never once wanted to see posts in anything other than chronological order
