Going forward I will not be reblogging or otherwise amplifying individual donation posts on this blog.
(This includes but is not limited to Gaza-based fundraisers.)
I do not have the funds to donate to anyone.
All people deserve to have clean, safe housing, water, and food. All people deserve to feel safe in their homes and have stability in their lives. I grieve the suffering and trauma of my peers who struggle in poverty across the globe.
The survivors of the genocide in Gaza deserve aid and support. The people of the Congo deserve aid and support. The people of Sudan deserve aid and support. None of them deserve the violence and torment that have been inflicted upon them. I desperately wish I could help more and more immediately. I strongly believe in mutual aid, both locally and globally.
If you are on this page and do wish to offer support, here is a post with a list of groups supporting Gaza. And here is a post with links for supporting both Gaza and Sudan. I will update this space as I find more generalized resources. If you wish to donate directly to families in Ghazza, there are several blogs dedicated to vetting those donation campaigns. Please seek them out.
Reblogging donation posts on this blog accomplishes nothing. I have maybe 10 active followers. Most of those followers are already engaging with donation and support without my influence. My reblogs of donation posts get no notes. I cannot meaningfully boost anyone's reach.
What support I can offer here is nothing but an empty gesture.
If you are in need of aid, monetary or otherwise, do not spend your precious time contacting me. I will not be able to help you. I am sorry.
