I just fully caught up on reading Witch Hat Atelier and as a newcomer I am in awe of the fact that this series still doesn’t have a bigger fanbase? I mean, it’s larger thanks to the anime, yes, but it just doesn’t feel all that massive and I feel like the story deserves it. Idk. It’s sticking in my brain. I think this might be my new bread and butter. Kamome Shirahama’s character designs and world-building feel so natural to me and this is the first time a power system in an anime hasn’t made me feel bored to tears lol

I despise what generative ai and large language models are doing to the creative scene and more importantly the environment but at the very least I'm not hopelessly demotivated whenever I see ai images. In a weird way, they motivate me to create more. Outbreed the enemy. It's not a particularly realistic goal but it drives me all the same 🤷‍♀️

Good morning I had a dream that there was this TADC fanfic called Monster Truck Gangle making the rounds online, and it had this reputation for being the most morally repugnant fic of all time, worse than Dipper Goes To Taco Bell or Sweet Apple Massacre. And throughout the dream i was like can anyone at LEAST give me a RUNDOWN of what the HELL Monster Truck Gangle is supposed to be. And literally every source was basically “oh you sweet summer child. You do NOT want to know” and I woke up pissed off

Idk if this information is useful to other superfans but it’s possible to buy japanese manga on bookwalker jp, including the lmj manga! I used a vpn but I actually didn’t need to lolol. I know the existing translation online made by PentacleArtist (if you’re reading this hiii I love your stuff!!) is made with a scan of the french manga, but for anyone that wants the hq version just for collecting purposes, bookwalker is the way to go!!

I now own both the physical and digital versions of the japanese manga…now if only there were an official translation :,)
