okay, as it was mv thoughts that I’ll just throw into the world and then crawl back to my den
beginning: harry, already very bright(!) but still hidden in the coat. going through life and probably feeling very pressured to be as everyone else around him. then an interesting thing happens. like some weird force is pulling him away from that path. something or someone? whatever. destiny. gravity.
then there’s two of them. very intimate. hidden from everyone else. his coat is off. he is more open. the same way as this other person is. first of all, I think there’s an emphasis on some kind of equality of their energy and their situation. maybe some kind of statement that this specific person is the one who triggered harry to be more open the same way as harry did (in the second half of the mv girl was in the coat too before taking it off if you noticed).
(*proceeds to think how loud and flamboyant louis was at x-factor days compared to harry, how supportive he was, how it may have affected harry, BUT NOT THE POINT*)
I have few ideas about their relationship there, but whatever it is harry already said it pretty clearly “running in circles”. a lot of love and also a lot of pushing each other away.
I think the first half of it refers to 1d days. kinda summing his relationship with this person. we can also notice that something happens and the girl in the blue is suddenly thrown out of the picture.
second half of the mv is much more detailed thought. there’s a lot to go through. I like to point out that there are FIVE people there. makes me think how after one direction all of them had the chance to finally show who they really are, to finally have a say on their public image and how they want to be seen. just an idea though. at this point harry took all of his clothes off. open and vulnerable. his first album??? but the girl in blue.. without a coat on but stays in clothes. hmmmm…
but he loves this person in blue and the world they create together. it’s full of colors. but people and circumstances seem to tear them apart. they are stuck with same problems as before. still running in circles.
the dancing part. honestly, lots of ideas and I’m not sure what to think about it yet. but the world “embracing” is on the tip of my tongue. he dances through every single location of the mv kinda like accepting every part of his journey so far
does the girl in blue represent louis? well, i have my answer to that but, you know, art is made to be interpreted
