So over a year ago, I asked for advice on the correct symbols to use for The Many Below, and started embroidering them onto a jacket. Over the past year and a bit I've learned the following:

Embroidery takes a long time.

Thread has an innate desire to tangle and snag.

Taking your project to a convention is a decent idea, working on it in a train carrage with poor lighting on the way back is a good way to go off-plan and give up for months rather than unpick a load of work.

Things eventually do get done as long as you leave them somewhere you can reach from the sofa.

So, yeah. It's finished! I'm planning to sew a border around it as well, as I want to stick something behind it to protect the backside of the stitches and I might add some colour before that but the shapes are there and that's the important thing.

It's also my stated position that as this was broadcast over the radio in universe with the intent of letting all and sundry use it, it would have been done by a great many people with limited experience and therefore any flaws in the geometry or sewing are actually in accordance with canon (if you believe that, I have a cliffside farm to sell you).

This attack is in direct violation of articles 16, 17, and 18 of the Geneva convention as Nasser hospital is a civilian hospital that had civilian patients inside at the time of the attack. There is no evidence that adequate warning was given to hospital staff or patients which would be in violation of article 19 of the Geneva Convention even if the targeting of the hospital was valid, which it was not.
