I love letting myself relax enough to where I can watch kids/toddler cartoons and actually laugh at them. Like seasme street and sponge bob are absolutely hilarious to me. I laugh at all their jokes targeted for both kids and parents. Its really freeing to indulge, instead of deciding whats funny or not by age.
we all know adult humans dont get enough enrichment but the other day i was walkin home past an empty playground and impulsively ran over to spin myself on this zipline merry-go-round contraption for a few minutes and it really did feel like it unlocked some neglected part of my brain. like damn we really should all go outside and play more. fuck. they werent kidding with this play time thing. have you guys heard about play time. it could be huge.
Agere Activities for Little Scientists: A Masterpost
...that aren't just coloring! Brought to you by a caregiver and STEM major.
Below is an updating collection of websites for things to do when regressed that revolve around STEM. Activities include videos, experiments, worksheets, reading, crafts, and games. Fields include space/astronomy, physics, zoology, water science, anthropology, paleontology, ecology, biology, and more! I've separated them by reading comprehension needed, with green being dedicated for younger headspaces and yellow being websites for adults AND kids. All sites are AI free and completely SFW. Happy learning!
NASA
NASA has a tons of free opportunities you can learn about the planet, our solar system, and beyond! NASA+ has video series and is free and has no ads. On NASA Space Place, you can find tons of fun activities to explore the galaxy. NASA Kids is similar, but has a broader focus. On NASA's games & interactives page, you can get free 3D visualizations, games, tours, and even hear the sounds of space. They also have apps for both IOS & android.

American Museum of Natural History
Explore fun topics ranging from anthropology to water science to microbiology in games, reading, videos, and hands on activities you can print out on OLogy, their website made for kids.
*If possible, please check out and support your local museum. It's a great way to get involved and learn more about your community and what came before it. We don't bite!
Ology | AMNH main
Science Journal for Kids
Great resource primarily for teachers, but clicking on any of the lessons gives you access to the original academic paper, more resources, and a PDF with the lesson reading and discussion questions! It can be fun to go through a few and keep a journal of your thoughts. These lessons can individually come in higher and lower reading levels and you can sort by elementary-upper high school level.
SJFK Website
PBS
PBS Kids has an entire page dedicated to fun science games! They also have NOVA Labs where you can do interactive labs exploring RNA, weather, cybersecurity, evolution, space, and more. Some are animated and aimed at a younger audience.

Wild Kratts
I wouldn't have ever wanted to go into STEM if it weren't for these guys. The Kratt Brothers dedicate their lives to animal conservation and sharing it with younger generations. On their website, there are tons of free activities and games where you can learn about animals under the Play & Learn menu! They also have family-friendly videos as well.
Wild Kratts Website
PhET Interactive Stimulations
With options for every grade level, you can explore a ton of different concepts in chemistry, physics, earth science, biology, and math. While many of the activities require outside direction, you can still play around and find your way! Sometimes it can be more fun to observe and learn that way. :)
PhET Sims
National Geographic
Similar to PBS! The NatGeo Kids website has games, videos, and readings to explore a range of topics.

If you have any recommendations please let me know (submissions must be sfw, AI-free, and accessible)! Thanks for reading :)
๐ฆขโก i fear i have never understood the hate towards (sfw) padded regressors ๐๐ญ
while i am not a padded regressor, everyone's regression is different . people can use diapers for all kinds of reasons !! and it literally does not affect anyone other than the person using them. maybe im just too woke idk but i feel as if there are other things in the agere community we could focus on .
i thinks all the big adults who buy Mother Garden stuff just to make one video for "cutecore" tiktok should donate the toys to a little in need after
it's me i'm the little and i need any of the strawberry tea sets
i once saw someone who had made an entire playroom of just Mother Garden toys only to call it "cutecore" and not play with it :( like come on!! me!! i'll play!!!

A reminder that sadly age regression as a whole is and will likely always be see as a โweird tabooโ thing to others.
So dunking on other regressors for using / needing padding to feel superior or โless cringeโisnโt cool at all. Many disabled regressors also use them medically and need them, excluding and shaming those within our community isnโt okay!
thereโs a big difference between having your own valid preferences and boundaries, and behaving borderline ableist and cruel towards your fellow regressors.
shoutout to autistic age regressors who have their autism as a very major part of the reason why they regress.
a major reason why i personally age regress and get the urge to regress is because as an undiagnosed autistic child i was not ready for the rate at which new expectations were given to me.
it's understandable to wanna be tiny when people expected you to meet milestones that you weren't able to meet.
it's understandable to wanna be tiny when infancy seems like the only years where the expectations aren't scary and/or unreasonable.
Hello, This is Mx. Scary giving you a Cozy Announcement:
If you find yourself scrolling online and find someone saying something cruel, false, or mean relating to age regression or something you love personally -> Do not interact with it.
Often, in the case of agere, these people are misinformed, willfully ignorant, or simply people who donโt like to see whimsy. Itโs hard to change the minds of people like this, so the best thing to do is block them.
Thus removing any current or future upsetting messages. We canโt help only hope they can grow and learn, but thatโs not our responsibility.
Our goal is to heal and cope with our past and present in the hopes of creating a better future for ourselves. And Iโm proud of each and every one of you for accepting this part of yourself.
It can be a challenge to deal with people who canโt understand us, but I promise thereโs nothing wrong with you. We simply have a different way of coping.
And when it comes to people insulting your interests, itโs the same thing. Block them. Often people are preying on insecurity, you see something upsetting and we canโt help but see what they say. We view the thing we like as an extension of ourselves. Which is not true.
Algorithms are designed to show us things to upset us so we keep doomscrolling and falling into pits we feel trapped in.
But here to hold your hand and pull you out.
Love something because you love it. You donโt have to justify your joy. Donโt watch that critique video, donโt listen to cruel comments, and donโt be pressured into becoming cruel.
Your happiness is something truly special and something worth protecting.
Block those who wish to drain your whimsy. They will never understand the value of your interests, and theyโll never get to know how wonderful this community is.
Remember, weโre here for you. Donโt worry about justifying your joy. Just let yourself enjoy the things you love.
Regressed again for the first time in two years today and I have never felt better in my entire life.
my mind? clear. my anxiety? nonexistent. my crippling depression? sunshine and rainbows. Ny fear of the world that refuses to let me leave my house? i went on a walk.
I feel human again
