Willy Wonka is my newest doll just added to my shop.
He measures 14 1/2 inches tall and is meant to be a display doll and not a toy.
He is one of a kind, made without a pattern.

Thank you to everyone that subscribed to my YouTube Channel since I started a few years ago. I just made it to 1,000 subscribers and thought to post about it.
Now, back to my yarn stash to make something, I go! ๐
Thanks again, everyone. It really means a lot to me. ๐งก๐ซ
Not to alarm anyone, but... Christmas is coming! ๐๐
Of course not everyone celebrates Christmas (or traditionally, or for the right reasons, or the same reasons, etc)... But I do!
I've decorated for Christmas so many different ways throughout my life, but one thing that I never did was decorate with handmade ornaments made out of yarn. Last year was that year!
I do make and sell ornaments, but they seem to disappear locally before I ever get to put any in my Etsy Shop. With that said, if you're ever interested in a custom order, feel free to send me an email.
Happy waiting for Christmas! ๐๐
After waking up this morning and feeling a cool breeze through the window I left far more open than I remembered... ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ I realized that is truly is getting to be that time of year here in Connecticut! ๐โ๏ธ
Usually I make posts with my wearables every so often, and encourage others to bust out their yarn and start getting to work on making them during the summer months so they'll be all ready for Fall and Winter -- but of course do any of us listen to good advice? Probably not. ๐๐คฃ I can relate!
This summer I did not make a single hat or scarf, but I thankfully still have some in stock and I can roughly estimate the time it'll take for a single order -- so even in a rush, I can whip one out, but the important thing is to remember... What you don't end up selling will end up becoming the perfect gift to someone during the colder months, which is all the motivation someone needs to keep creating those stitches!
I also like to mention to consider colors that can go with anything -- People love neutral colors in a pinch. Last minute gift? "Oh, I'll take one of those in the gray or the black."
Of course fun, bright, and funky colors should not be forgotten! If you know your crowd, whether selling handmade or not, be sure to whip up some hats and scarves with those colors as well -- or offer custom orders to people who are interested.
Anyway, happy crocheting and/or Knitting, and let's go "The 'Ber Months!" as they're calling it these days! ๐๐๐๐งถ
HAPPY TRAVELS SAM! โฅ๏ธ๐ค๐
Thanks to everyone that shared my posts of Sam over the years as well as most recently. He finally found his Forever Home!
Also thank you to the lovely customer that is waiting for his arrival after I shipped him out this Monday!
Be sure to check back in my Etsy Shop for other versions of Sam I hope to make, or to find out what I'm working on by following me on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok as I post my work on there first. Facebook, like Tumblr, are usually my last spots at the moment to share my work.
Thanks again everyone! ๐๐งถ๐งก

Here is a video reel of my Jack and Sally dolls. ๐งถ๐งก
Thanks to anyone who follows me on YouTube and who also follows my Etsy Shop!
They are made from my imagination (and my hook and my yarn, of course!) after thinking how would they look in a sorg if rag doll type of style?
I absolutely loved the results and while I thought I would have made Jack first, I went to work more on Sally after I created both of their heads because I knew I'd have her dress to worry about.
This Sally doll is my most unique doll yet because I decided to use felt, which is what her dress is made out of.
Anyway, they're both listed in my shop, but for now they're just in a dust free bag and in a safe storage until they find their forever homes! ๐๐

Hey Guys, just a quick YouTube Shorts video of my Captain America doll for anyone that would like to check it out.
Thanks for following my YouTube Channel if you can and thanks for sharing this post as well. Later Days! ๐โฅ๏ธ๐

It's really getting into those 'Ber Months'
If you're in a chilly/cold location like me hopefully you spent some of your summer making hats, scarves, socks, blankets, and everything else we tend to gravitate towards when we hit the colder months -- but if not, don't worry. I didn't spend much time this summer working on very many things for a number of reasons.
One, it was too hot to think at times, and two, I was busy with making throw pillows as well as dolls.
Besides -- there's still time, so make the most out of it if you can! ๐๐งถ
Happy Crocheting/Knitting!
Mario has been listed in my handmade shop. Look for Luigi to be listed in a little bit!
Thanks for stopping by and giving my shop a follow! ๐โฅ๏ธ
๐งถ Etsy.com/shop/harvestyarns
I made Mario and Luigi's heads about a year ago -- and forgot all about them until most recently, when I was going through my unfinished projects.
I finally had a chance to finish them today!
I really wasn't sure about their buttons as I had to paint them white, then gold, and then I used clear gel nail polish to seal it all in because you know that's just how I do when I find myself in a pinch! ๐
Mario and Luigi are available, either together or apart, but they haven't been listed in my Etsy Shop just yet. I usually like to let my dolls hang around for a day or so, so I can get videos and photos of them just in case I never see them again, once they go to their forever homes.
You can still stop by my shop any time you would like to see what I've got available. And remember, any custom orders must be played by email, thank you. ๐๐๐งถ

Most of the time it's about the yarn... But the rest of the time it's about making mini envelopes. ๐งถ๐

Once Upon A Time... I feel like that is how I should start every post with this doll. ๐ Oh, what is there to say about merlin? I may never know -- truly, I may never.
Merlin was a custom order from a friend, once upon a time... ๐๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ, who adores the TV Show "Merlin"
Thank God I switched over to using glue to attach/style hair because I swear it's been the best thing I've decided to do when it comes to dollmaking -- Why? Because it was literally the biggest thing that I struggled with and what took me many painful hours trying to figure out.
I also was asked to make Arthur, but this post isn't about him. ๐ It's all about Merlin right now!
I remember thinking how ears usually don't end up on most of my dolls, but after making Merlin, I thought, perhaps some of them -- if not all, should. Will it stick? I am not entirely sure, but time will tell!
If you're a fan of Merlin, tag a fan. Come on, I know how fandom works! ๐
Later Days and Happy Sunday!

Hey All --Happy Friday! Happy Weekend!
Alright, now that that's out the way let's be serious here... Are you really happy? ๐๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ Who even knows at this point?!
Anyway, somethings do make us happy and yarn might just be that for some of us -- myself very much included.
Yarn also makes me frustrated and when I run out of room to store it, I get even more frustrated... But yet I still never seem to be without... YARN. ๐๐๐ซ๐
I got to thinking this morning, what could I make that did not require polyfil? You know if you make Amigurumi, you always need some sort of stuffing -- at least the majority of the time. And even if you only stuff certain parts of a doll or stuffed animal, you still need stuffing of some kind.
I started making ornaments about two years ago. I started during the Christmas Holiday season and I never got around to making some for Halloween.
Well -- this year is that year and today I made a set of unique Frankenstein ornaments (well, if anyone wants to get technical, isn't he actually Frankenstein's Monster and not actually Frankenstein? I don't know -- someone let me know!). Nothing too drastic, just different expressions and different stitches.
I'm thinking they could make cute keychains as well, but to be honest I once put up a mini tree I bought at Dollar Tree for Halloween... So I'm just vibing with the ornament idea more.
Whatever the case may be, whether you are happy at the moment or not, it's the weekend and maybe... Just maybe, you can use some yarn and come up with something. If not, maybe you can start thinking of a new project? You'll figure it out, don't worry!
Happy Crocheting (or Knitting), or whatever it is that you make with yarn! ๐๐๐งถ๐
This is Halloween! ... Or close enough! ๐
I finally got a chance to buy a Fall candle. I have been using the same one for several years now. This one I found at TJ Maxx.
Oogie Boogie has already been claimed, but Jack is available in my Etsy Shop.
Thanks for checking out my work! ๐๐งก๐งถ

Elphaba has now been listed in my Etsy Shop.
She was made out of acrylic yarns, polyfil, safety eyes, glue, and make-up.
She is not intended as a toy/plush, but a figurine doll to display.
Thank you very much for stopping by my shop, commenting, or sharing my post. ๐๐๐งถ

I have a lot of fun packaging up my orders -- why? Because I never know how they'll be packaged and what little odds and ends I'll include.
As a kid I was one of those pens, pencils, sticky notes, stickers, and all-around office supplies kind of gal and while I don't have much use for things these days, I still have them around with the idea of being able to use them one day/give them away.
Adding them to my orders has become my go to. I absolutely try to keep a theme going with the season or even the subject of the order, and if I know you personally, I try my best to take that into consideration as well!
Sometimes I won't post the photo of what they will be receiving with their purchases until after they've received their package so that things aren't spoiled. Maybe it's more of an excitement for me than them, but I'm hoping they are just as excited as me! ๐
