It’s okay if your regression doesn’t look like their regression. You’re doing your best.

Sitting in the passenger seat with the window slightly open in the summer, keeping us both cool, or having the heating on in the winter making me super sleepy

i know that like. nobody at all follows me here (which is quite nice don't get me wrong! little quiet space) but i'm going to yap anyways. mua ha ha

lately i've been getting these extreme intense pangs of need for a caregiver that i can show the cool things i do each day to, and to come to when i need comfort, maybe play video games and voice call with, and so on and so on. my parents are wonderful but they're both teachers, and haven't got the time or energy after teaching to give me the type of attention i wish i could get. plus yknow, i don't want to act too young or silly around them because i doubt they'd understand and all. it's kind of frustrating, i feel like i should get enough from them, but i just don't :(

lowkey if anyone out there sees this and wants to be my 'internet parent' i likely would not deny. trying to stay out of the grasps of the "ai companion" market since ive been so desperate for this sort of connection that ive genuinely thought about getting some chatbot to do it for me :( i so strongly despise how these companies are taking advantage of people desperate for comfort and connection like that.

i would just talk to my friends for this but its honestly just really difficult to expect an existing friend of mine to be there like this for me. not even considering that a few of my friends would probably think it kind of weird or uncomfortable.

Age regression is always portrayed as this pure super cute, electable comforting thing in social media and I’m sorry but, I’m tired, there’s sometimes it’s not. Sometimes age regressing is extreme feelings, it’s hitting your head and screaming in pain and laying on the floor and kicking and wanting it to stop. Sometimes it’s shaking in anxiety, biting your hands and stimming uncomfortably. Sometimes theres no comfort, sometimes the triggers are not good, and that’s fine too. Age regressing does not mean pure state, it means a much younger one. Just that. It can be violent and ugly too

Shoutout to kiddos who don't act that different while small. Who speak with the same vocabulary they usually do and enjoy the same things they do while big. Who only experience the change internally. You matter too <3

A reminder that sadly age regression as a whole is and will likely always be see as a “weird taboo” thing to others.

So dunking on other regressors for using / needing padding to feel superior or “less cringe”isn’t cool at all. Many disabled regressors also use them medically and need them, excluding and shaming those within our community isn’t okay!

there’s a big difference between having your own valid preferences and boundaries, and behaving borderline ableist and cruel towards your fellow regressors.

The ones who are tall, fat, busty/curvy, buff,,, all of the above,, maybe scarred and rough looking from their years of struggling,, but they're just as teeny tiny and cute and squeezable as any other baby or kid :((

carrying my little sib around on my shoulders. showing them cool bugs i found. using the last of my allowance to get them a treat from the ice cream truck. slowing down just enough to let them win the bike race home. letting them rest their sweaty head against my shoulder in the backseat after playing outside. teaching them how to safely catch and release frogs. kneeling by the stream and helping them hunt for shiny rocks. lighting fireworks just to watch their face light up. peeling their oranges for them. getting us both in trouble by staying up late to teach them how to play minecraft. carrying them inside when they fall asleep in the car. letting them wear my clothes even though they're much too big since they “wanna be like bubba.”
