love ur work keep it up pooks
shoko/reader. dynamic can be interpreted in any way.
"you look… well," she says, because you do. you look good, older, more mature. it was odd imagining you as you were in high school. after graduation, life had different plans for the two of you.
her hair had grown out, albeit thin. her skin pale, contrasting her purple eyeshadow.
she also noticed small changes in your face, your mannerisms. but to see you were still the same person as before... she was somewhat relieved.
you shifted in your seat before replying. "ah, thanks… i really have to catch up with everyone else soon," and with saying this, you saw her expression only slightly harden.
"well, i hope you do," she said simply, taking another drag of her cigarette. her eyes were still on you. overloading you with everything that had happened. she didn’t want to push a burden on you.
"so, how are the boys? gojo-san and geto-san? are they…" your words trailed off when shoko’s expression blanked, her eyes looking past you now. she was silent for some time.
"they're fine," she answers, the lie rolling off her tongue effortlessly, pressing the burnt end of the cigarette onto the table.
she paused for a moment, letting the silence stretch. she didn’t really want to talk about them — but she also felt the need to fill the air with something.
she continued after a few moments. "you should see him sometime," she said, "satoru, i mean."
how could it be? the same man who vowed to eradicate every non-sorcerer, the man who hated your kind with a burning passion, had become utterly infatuated with you. he couldn’t bring himself to acknowledge it.
you were everything he hated: weak, helpless, oblivious, and dumb. most of all, a non-sorcerer. but you were gorgeous, he thought to himself. he could stare at you all day, yet he cursed himself at the same time for even feeling the slightest hint of attraction towards someone who should be a target.
geto let out a heavy sigh, realizing his attempts to rid himself of these thoughts seemed impossible. it was as if you plagued his mind. he thought maybe if he had his way with you, you would leave his thoughts alone for good.
he found himself staying in discreet places to watch you from afar, eradicating all curses that seemed to get too close to you to protect you. but for once, he allowed one to grasp onto you. just so he could watch you desperately come to his aid like the weak, foolish girl you were.
there you were, standing before him with a curse coiled around your waist. you winced in pain, trembling before him, your voice filled with stress. “please… i came to you because i figured only you could save me, geto-sama. i trust you.”
he was not surprised by the sudden visit. a smug smirk appeared on his face as he took in the sight of you, so vulnerable and helpless. a sense of satisfaction washed over him, knowing you looked up to him as some kind of savior or god.
geto threw his arms out, adjusting his large robes that swayed with every step as he analyzed the curse that had you in its grasp, humming in thought as he got close.
“stay still,” he said bluntly. with that, you felt the pain subside with what seemed like a simple movement of his hand and the sound of him swallowing something unknown to you. you opened your squinted eyes to see him brushing his hands off, a sour expression on his face.
you stood dumbfounded before the monk, unsure whether to break down in tears of joy or maintain your composure. you stuttered, rubbing your hand against the area where the curse had been attached.
geto took a sharp breath before straightening the creases in his robes and looking back at you to speak.
“humans like you don’t possess the ability to rid themselves of these curses. pity, isn’t it?” the monk said.
brought out of your moment of relief from the pain, you asked under your breath, “what do you mean?”
geto let out a small chuckle at your reaction, lazily throwing an arm over your shoulders as he walked you down the hallways of the echoing temple. “what i mean is, you people are the exact reason curses even exist in this world,” he said bluntly. “and yet, here you are, seeking my assistance. but that’s human nature, no? relying on those in higher power when they’re in need.” in these words, his voice softened a bit, almost as if he was sympathizing with you. “the least you can do is thank me, dear, after all, i just saved your life.”
you batted your lashes before looking up at him pressed beside you, his eyes fixed on yours intensely the whole time, the smug expression never leaving his features. you felt your face heat up and looked back down at the floor. “s-surely just a thank you wouldn’t suffice for what you have done for me,” you said shyly.
“ah, what are you implying? that you pay me compensation? impossible!” his free hand shot up, waving dismissively at you, his eyes squinted half-shut as a faux smile appeared on his face, his brows furrowed. “saving you poor non-shamans’ lives is my utmost duty, after all!” geto’s face almost immediately turned to one of anguish and despair, his tone filled with hopelessness, his fist clenched.
“but… i want to repay the kindness you have shown me. i’m in debt to you, aren’t i?” you countered, still not being able to look up at him towering over you.
geto’s expression turned blank a bit too quickly after your statement. he let out a low hum, taking a moment to think before looking back down at you. “well, you’re not wrong about that.” his response was blunt, leaving it for you to finish his thought.
suguru geto wasn’t the sympathetic type. he had never been so patient with a non-sorcerer before, which explained the smears of blood that splattered the walls and the disfigured body of a man whom he had killed for being a measly ¥170 yen off.
a moment of silence hung in the air. his arm extended to the side, bringing his oversized sleeves up enough to check the time displayed on his watch.
“perhaps… i repay you another way?” you suggested, your voice convincing enough, although faint and subdued.
were you trying to seduce him? he would never allow a filthy non-shaman to do such a thing, so why did he like the way it sounded coming from you?
he contemplated your proposal while he shifted to face you completely. his eyes traveled down your body, lingering a little longer on the exposed areas of your skin. “and what exactly are you suggesting?”
your eyebrows lowered at the sight of the large bulge beneath his heavy attire as he sat at the edge of the mattress, his arms supporting his weight as you knelt before him.
geto’s expression was stoic, but his body told a different story. his muscles tensed a bit as you wrapped a gentle hand around the base of his clothed cock. he took it upon himself to undo the okesa meticulously that fell to the floor in a crumpled mess, his cock springing up free at the discarding of his boxers.
your eyes widened at the sight. so thick and girthy, standing tall in front of your eyes. before you could begin anything, he muttered under his breath, “taking our sweet time, hm?” his hands quickly unbuttoned the shirt underneath the okesa, his fingers fumbling with the buttons. he tried to remain composed, but his impatience was clear.
his composure started to falter slightly, lips parted as he looked down at you, his eyes darkened with what seemed like heightening desire. his large hand made its way onto the top of your head, pushing you down without much warning, gagging you immediately, earning a pout from you.
“i know you can do it, pretty girl,” he said, a reassurance you could take all of him. you began to bob your head slowly, tongue dragging along his length, lips sucking softly at his tip, before allowing your head to fall slowly, taking all his length. geto’s attempts at stifling a moan came in vain, the sounds of pleasure leaving his lips like a song. you felt a sticky dampness collecting at your panties the longer this dragged on. geto felt a sense of guilt and disdain at the thought he was allowing a non-sorcerer to pleasure him, but your mouth felt so good, he got lost in it all.
geto’s head leaned back over his broad shoulders, in an attempt to hide how flushed he was getting. sweat beginning to collect at his bangs, he ran a hand through his long, silky hair. his whole body tensed, hands gripping the sheets, causing his veins to become more prominent through his forearms and hands.
a loud grunt escaped from his lips, thighs flexing as your pace quickened, lewd sounds of wet squelching filling the air. it was getting increasingly difficult to remain composed.
“don’t… push it,” he managed to grit out through clenched teeth, the muscles in his arm tensing as he attempted to steady his breathing. the feeling of your mouth was driving him insane, and it was becoming more and more obvious. his dark, heavy-lidded eyes were fixed on you. the sweet sounds of your muffled whimpers, your eyes glistening with tears threatening to spill down, your lips puffy as your mouth engulfed his red, swollen cock.
geto let out a small, shaky breath before the feeling of a gooey substance filled your mouth, and a low, guttural groan escaped geto’s lips as you halted your movements. he tilted his head back once more, his hair messy and stuck to his skin. his cum, white and sticky, coated his tip like some kind of glaze, dripping down his softening length slowly.
the two of you stayed in silence for some time, except for the sounds of your labored breathing lingering.
“geto-sama… my debt?” you finally whispered beneath your breath.
suguru, still attempting to gain back some semblance of composure, replied gravelly, “hm, i’ll dismiss you of compensation just this time,”
mr. salaryman
it was really only supposed to be a one-night stand. nanami wasn’t in any condition to care for a woman or give the love deserved at this point in his life. he was busy, exhausted, overworked, and underappreciated. despite these circumstances, he always thought about marriage and hoped to get married when life got a little more peaceful.
nanami opened his eyes slowly, seeing your concerned face above him and hearing your soft words, “is your headache better?”
he was brought back to his senses. his head tilted back over the edge of a chair, still in his suit, his tie undone and thrown over his shoulder, a few buttons undone, sleeves rolled up.
“a bit, thank you,” he muttered, closing his eyes again. the headache had been steadily pounding at his temples all day, and now it had intensified, making it difficult for him to focus on anything but the pain. he felt a bit helpless that anyone other than himself was caring for something as minor as a headache.
he was so used to being self-sufficient, relying on nobody but himself. but here you were, treating a headache as if it was the worst condition a person could have, fussing over him and trying to take care of him. but of course, he wouldn’t admit it aloud.
nanami finally collected himself, grunting as he adjusted himself in his chair, his head now sunk into his hands. your eyebrows lowered at this action. you reached out and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. exhaustion seemed to be permanently etched onto his face, the lines of stress and tension never leaving him.
you spoke, your voice full of worry. "maybe you should lie down for a bit?"
he shook his head. "no need, i'm fine," he said gruffly. "i've had worse."
you gave him a stern look. "don't be stupid. you're in pain, and it's not going to get any better if you just sit there and suffer. come on, you should lie down for a bit."
he let out a heavy sigh, realizing that he couldn't win this argument. he slowly stood up, and you took his arm, gently guiding him toward a vacant sofa.
he let out a tired groan as he lowered himself onto the sofa. he knew you were right, but he was so used to pushing through the pain and exhaustion that it was second nature to him.
you knelt down beside him, your hand still gently wrapped around his bare forearm. “you really need to take better care of yourself, kento,” you said.
"i know," he muttered, closing his eyes and trying to ignore the throbbing in his head, pressing his hand firmly against his temples. "it's just... i don't have the luxury of such a thing at this moment.”
"you're going to burn yourself out, you know. you can't keep going like this forever, kento.”
he opened his eyes and looked up at you, his expression a mix of irritation and resignation. "what else is there? i can’t simply quit. it’s not as easy as you're making it out to be," he said, but there was no real heat behind his words.
he didn't want to admit it, but he knew you were right. he was pushing himself a bit too close to the edge for the sake of his shitty job. maybe being a sorcerer wasn’t such a lousy idea, at least he’d have something to offer the world.

this is an au of nanami before becoming a sorcerer
human buffet
“tsk, sorcerors have gotten soft nowadays,” the king of curses let out a glutteral laugh, a tone of disgust and disdain in his voice. his head now turned to uraume who stood beside him. “such a pity, it’s gotten too boring,”
plates stacked upon plates, which once held the flesh of your fellow sorcerers, eaten by the four eyed and limbed demon who sat like a deity before you. you felt like vomiting at the thought you would probably be next, and your only wish was that it would go by quickly.
his gaze flicked back onto you, bowed down low to him, on your knees before him. the floor was cold and and stained red. his chin sunk into his hand, finger tapping against his cheek, eyeing you condescendingly. “you’re a sorcerer, are you not?” the king of curses asked, voice low and raspy, filling the room. “get up and prove your worthy of living,”
it was clear to you there was no point in refusing. slowly, you forced yourself up onto your feet, rising and standing before him, sukuna’s smirk widened as he observed your trembling form, seeming amused at your obedience. he chuckled lowly once again, his sharp eyes finally meeting yours. “ah, so you do have some spine in you…” he said, his voice dripping with mockery.
“shall i get the ingredients ready?” the woman who now stood behind the two of you spoke out, bringing him out of his little moment. his secondary pair of eyes flicked to the side. “no, no. not just yet, uraume, i might just have some fun with this one,”
uraume nodded, stepping out of the room, her eyes never leaving you. was it jealousy or curiosity? sukuna had yet to move, eyeing you down. "step forward, woman," he said, gesturing a finger toward you, his voice low and gravelly. with some hesitation, you step forward.
a shiver ran down your spine as his hand moved to your chin, tilting your face upwards, making you meet his gaze. he chuckled once more, the smirk still ever present. "even better up close," he said, his tone laced with mockery. as if inspecting you further, he spoke again. "a face like that would sell for a fortune in my time,”
and after not so long, your cheek was planted to the blood stained floor, the king of curses held you firmly in place, his grip around your wrists nearly cutting your circulation as he rammed his his cock into you, his second hand tightly wrapped around your mouth. his chest pressed against your arched back, every thrust of his hips seeming to hammer into your sopping hole, stretched out from his thickness.
“a shame really, how weak you mortals are.” he muttered, his breath warm against your ear.
“though i suppose looks only go so far when that’s all you have,” he grabbed onto your hair, forcing you to look up at him as he forced his cock mercilessly into you, over and over again. if it wasn’t for his large hand over your mouth, you would let out screams. even the king of curses was beginning to get lost in the pleasure of your hole squeezing around his girth, almost sucking it in. two hands took place on your hips, squeezing the fat enough that it was sure to leave bruises. your eyes began to well with tears, streaming down your cheeks. what was a woman to the king of curses if they could not pleasure him?
it’s so canon that gojo would accidentally injure u while training because he either gets too carried away or is just too strong to realize 😭
“oh, come on. don’t look at me like that, it was just some friendly banter,” gojo spoke out from where he sat. his legs were crossed over each other, his back leaned forward against the wooden chair, a bit too small for his size.
‘friendly banter?’ you thought to yourself, eyeing him through your bandaged face. you rolled your eyes. “easy for you to say,”
he rested his elbow on the armrest, resting his chin upon his palm. his expression turned to a mocking pout, “awh, i almost feel bad for you,”
you were in no condition to try and size him up. he would throw you down again. again and again, until you threw in the towel. it didn't give him any sense of power whatsoever, he knew damn well he was the strongest and didn’t need any reassurance about that fact. he thought it was for your own good that you acknowledged your weakness.
“if only you knew more than basic combat moves. all you do is rely on your inconsistent cursed technique, it’s not very helpful,” he continued, the pout now a smug grin, “then you wouldn’t end up looking like a mummy every time we spar,”
if only you could punch that damn smirk off his face.
he chuckled, “did you forget? i’m the strongest,” his hands now folded. his words were laced with arrogance. he wasn’t flaunting, he merely just stated a literal fact. after some thinking, you came to the conclusion that you were just upset by how much you were outclassed by him.
“oh, i haven’t forgotten at all. with you shoving that fact down my throat so often, it would be impossible,” you snapped back at him, annoyed that he was still mocking you even when you were hurt.
he hummed, “good to know i was getting through,”
he stood up from the chair, his height towering over you, his hands stuffed into his pockets, head downcast to look down at you. even when he was relaxed, like he was right then, he still managed to hold that air of superiority around him.
“you gotta learn how to take hits,” he said, his tone much more quiet than before, “or learn how to dodge them in the first place, don’t you think?”
he reached out with one hand, grabbing the edge of your bandages. he tugged on them, lightly, just to get a reaction out of you. your face flushed red, your fists tightening.
“you can’t afford to be weak these days, your a sorcerer,” he spoke quietly, yet matter of a factly, his hand moved further up, letting the bandages fall away from the side of your face.
you abruptly stood up, pushing the chair back. “shut up! you don’t know how hard it is, you’d be nothing without your damned six-eyes,”
he was surprised by your sudden movement, his hand falling back to his side. he eyed you with a bit of surprise, but didn’t comment on it. instead, he took a small step backwards to give you space and raised his hands in mocking surrender. “woah, woah, woah, no need to get all worked up now,”
nostalgia
“tell me about gojo.” you asked, as suguru’s hand glided through your locks, your head situated in his lap.
“gojo, hm?” he said softly under his breath. his fingers suddenly stopped running through your hair. he was silent for some time.
“gojo was..my best friend. well, in highschool.” he said, his gaze was fixed ahead, his tone was so gentle. “i suppose we did get along..mostly.”
you listened intently, his hand in place to softly graze your cheek.
“i trusted him most,” he muttered, gently stroking her soft skin with his thumb. as he began to recall memories of his highschool days, his eyes slightly softened. he continued to play with your hair, his expression nostalgic, yet melancholic at the same time.
“don’t you miss those days?” you ask gently. your voice caught him off guard, as if he was in some kind of trance, memories flooding back.
he paused for a moment, and looked down at you. “..somewhat, yes,” he answered, in almost a whisper-like tone. “there were.. more pleasant times then, i suppose. it’s difficult to recall them, it’s been so long.” he said, his expression still solemn.
you couldn’t stifle a yawn, due to the late hours of the night. “tired, are you?” he said, looking down at you now, his words coming to a halt to the realization that you were sound asleep. he sighed, patting your waist gently.
heian jealously
“Come. Lie with me”
the king of curses was.. asking you to lie with him? you hesitated, your speech faltering, but he gave you a leering smile that stifled any second thoughts. you nodded slowly, approaching the futon and settling beside him.
it baffled you. that the same man that killed people left and right upon his own whim, was asking you, out of everyone, to lie with him. it should’ve felt like an honor, but you couldn’t shake the feeling that there was a reason behind his sudden request.
your gaze soon wandered to the corner where one set of his arms lay crossed upon his chest, and his other set supporting the back of his head. he must’ve thought himself slick; from a distance, it seemed he was just gazing up at the ceiling, but his other set of eyes were half open, fixed on your figure. meeting them briefly, you quickly averted your gaze, unsettled by the conceited expression he wore.
"Why so shy, woman? I won't eat you," the king of curses grumbled.
you cleared your throat. "What... do you wish for me to do?" your voice lacking confidence.
he chuckled gutturally. "You see... Just earlier, I killed a servant for a mere glance. You wouldn’t want to meet a similar fate, would you?" his words dripped with threat, though his calm demeanor contradicted them. "Now, come closer," his primary gaze locked onto you, patting the empty area in between you two.
you complied, edging nearer. a raspy exhale escaped him as he scratched his head, his voice lowering. “That vendor.. you haven’t fallen in… love with him, have you?”
your heart skipped a beat at his words. how could he know? how had been developing feelings for the man, but you were so secretive about it that you couldn't understand how anyone could have figured it out.
“I.. don’t know what you’re talking about.” you said slowly under your breath.
“Sure you do,” He blurted out, his sudden loudness startled you. “Don’t lie to me now, concubine.”
you began to play with the hem of your gown in growing anxiety. now you were sure you would be killed. “I swear, Sukuna.. I don’t-“ your voice was cracking, breaking off into a desperate whisper before being cut off by his voice. "Good, because he's dead now."
your eyes widened in shock. it wasn't entirely unexpected, yet it still caught you off guard. "You... killed him?"
His erupted laugh bounced off the walls. "What's the matter? If you didn't love him, why are you so concerned?"
your gaze wondered away. he knew you were upset, but he couldn’t care less about your feelings. he had his priorities set on making you his. “I’m not.” you mumbled.
He leered at you, brushing hair strands off your face as your eyes glistened with tears threatening to spill. He cooed sarcastically.
“for dinner, uruame is preparing his carcass. i want to see you then, dear.”
with care
suguru enjoyed having his long hair brushed, although he never showed it.
as he read his book, his own wooden comb being held by you, smoothly glided through his long, dark locks that cascaded down his back. he was knelt in front of you on his futon, his eyes fixed down on his book that sat in his lap.
"you have such long hair. haven’t you ever thought about cutting it?" you would ask, breaking the silence. humming in response, suguru remained focused on his book.
"do you want me to cut it?" he said softly. you furrowed your eyebrows, unsure how to respond. "I-I didn't mean that," you stammered.
amused, he allowed a faint smirk to appear. "there must be a reason for such a question. you can tell me," he encouraged.
"i.. was just curious," she said, her tone softening as she slowed her brushing. noting the change in her manner, he nodded to himself, showing some interest in the conversation.
"i see. maybe I'll think about it later," he remarked in a quiet voice. you paused, staring out at the reflection in the mirror of the both of you as you gently ran her fingers through his hair. although your expression would remain neutral, a hint of softness shone in your eyes. truth was, he prided his long hair.
you decided to braid a small portion of his hair, sectioning three parts, each time running your finger through briskly. you noticed his sleepy, heavy-lidded eyes in the mirror despite him sitting straight. after completing the braid, you set it down against his back, allowing it to unravel slowly.
you rested your chin on his shoulder, exhaling softly. “i actually prefer you with long hair,"
a quiet chuckle rumbled from deep within him. there was a sense of playfulness in his tone as he responded. “alright, i’ll keep it just for you then."
late night talks
"Loves dumb. People get too caught up in it. They forget who they are chasing that feeling," a young Gojo Satoru said, twirling a pen carelessly in his hand as he sat in his study chair, looking into your eyes through the reflection of the window. When he saw you weren’t replying, he continued.
“People die. What then? Chase after the void they left? Yeah, right," he scoffed. It perturbed you despite the gravity of the words he was saying, he seemed so brash.. so eager, and so careless.
"Love is natural," you said, holding a pillow close to your chest as you sat on his bedside. Satoru turned his chair, watching you snuggle up to the pillow. He rolled his eyes, then looked back in the direction of the window, with a pout that was meant as humor.
"What..?" you said quietly, your eyebrows furrowing, clutching the pillow harder. He turned his head over the headrest and smirked at you “You’re hugging that pillow as if it were your lifeline.”
He leaned back, propping himself up with his hands behind his head. “That thing isn’t going to love you back, you know...” he snickered. “Oh, shut up!” you said in annoyance, throwing the pillow at him from across the room now.
He caught it with one hand, his eyes narrowing. “Oh wow, you’re really mad, huh?” he teased. His lips tugged into a smirk, and he raised his eyebrows. “Someone’s jealous of a pillow?” he asked dramatically, now holding the pillow close to his chest himself.
As much as she wanted to leave his room, she couldn’t bring herself to. She stayed sat on his bed, arms now crossed. She was silent for some time. “If there was no love, we’d all be empty, soulless people,” she whispered beneath her breath. Satoru hated the gushiness.
“If there was no love, there would be no pain,” he countered, still staring at you with soft eyes and an amused look. Satoru wasn’t trying to start an argument at all; he just wanted to see how she would respond.
Her eyes widened. Her breath got stuck in her throat with his sharp words. “That’s.. not true.” He furrowed his eyebrows in curiosity at her response.
“How is it not? How could someone suffer the pains of loving someone so much you can’t see them leave-” He was caught off guard by being interrupted.
“I won’t leave,” she blurted out, suddenly clasping her hands over her mouth at her words, her face reddened. He tilted his head, confused and amused at your sudden outburst.
“Eh?” he said, smirking. He kept his gaze on you expectantly, and raised a brow. He was a dumb teenager. He didn’t understand girls.
She dug her head into her hands now looking down, not saying another word. He was silent for some time. Probably thinking about Pokémon, or something.. by now.
“Why… why aren’t you saying anything?” she said softly, eyes now peeking over her arms, observing him. “Hm? What am I supposed to say?” he asked, keeping a straight face.
She huffed. Maybe an ‘I won’t leave you either’? she thought, but heck, she knew he wouldn’t commit to that. “You’re trying to be a smart ass.” She said.
He laughed, this time genuinely. “Am I?” he said with a cocky undertone.“Besides. Did you seriously expect me to say something mushy like ‘I’ll be with you forever’ type of thing?”
“Especially not to you…” he said with a cheeky grin. His statement was half-true and half-sarcastic; It’s just what he did, but he was serious in a sense; he wasn’t the type of person who would just go around saying romantic stuff. He liked to show rather than say when it came to things like love. And besides, he wasn’t the type to be able to commit to such a thing. He was Gojo Satoru.
“Maybe.. I did.” She said softly, trying to hide her evident frustration in him as she propped herself off his bed, taking steps toward the door.
He stared at her in utter amusement. He crossed his legs and watched her walking toward the door. “Aww, Going already?” he said as he heard the door shut closed, He thought they were having a good time; her leaving was a little surprising to him, despite the way he’s acting. Oh well.
“hm. girls are weird.”
missed me?
"I thought you were upset with me? Coming back already, I see?" Suguru Geto said as the rain poured down on you outside his very door.
He knew damn well from the start that you couldn’t live without him, and was expecting you to come crawling back inevitably. His foot tapped lightly against the floor, arms crossed over his chest.
Looking up at his looming figure, you felt your words were stuck in your throat, and all you could utter was a single "I..." before being briefly interrupted by his voice cutting through the air. "I know after you stormed out, you realized the true significance of who I was to you. Is that it?"
The calm, sickeningly sweet tone in his voice sent chills down your spine. Your mouth gaped open slightly, unsure of how to reply. He was right, but you didn’t want to admit it. "You don’t need to be so… condescending about it," You whispered beneath her breath.
"Is it wrong to be condescending when you know it’s the truth? You came all the way here, back to me, after you were so adamant on leaving me..." His expression softened for a moment, then shifted back to cold.
"So, don’t you think it’s fitting that I treat you this way?" His head tilted slightly to the side with somnolent eyes.
“The least I deserve, huh? As if I asked for you to treat me so well." You snapped back. He chuckled under his breath, catching you off guard.
“You’re right. I don’t have to treat you well, and believe me, I wouldn’t treat any other like how I’ve been treating you."
“I take care of you out of the goodness of my heart, not that you deserve it..” He was now grinning smugly, as if he knew his words would cut deep.
As your eyes seemed to blur with tears, you felt a soft peck on your forehead, followed by his thumb rubbing gently at your cheek. He was knelt down now infront of you, looking up into your eyes. "You missed me, didn’t you?" he hummed softly, brushing your hair aside.
“Now, come inside.”
wine
"Don’t worry about it, I’ll clean it," he muttered gruffly, pushing his chair back and getting up. The nice dinner was instantly marred by the unfortunate spill, ruining the mood. You sat sheepishly in your seat, watching as he walked off to grab cleaning supplies.
“Let me help,” you offered suddenly, your posture now straightening.
“No,” he replied firmly. “It wasn’t your fault.” You observed his hand tightly gripping the towel, the veins on his hands pronounced as the fabric absorbed the spilled wine.
You couldn’t deny, he was quite the gentleman. As you watched him, your gaze wandered from his hand to his body. The definition in his arm muscles was prominent beneath his button-down shirt. You made an effort to keep your thoughts from straying too far.
“Are you alright? Did any get on you?” he asked, turning his attention back to you. Startled, you snapped back to your senses and shook your head shyly.
“No. I’m fine.” you replied quietly. This simple act only made you fall harder for him. You looked back down at the tablecloth, the stain still noticeable.
“I suppose I should dispose of this one,” he said bluntly. His voice was smooth like satin, yet still carried a subtle raspiness. It was only getting you drunker. Nanami picked up his napkin and dabbed his mouth with it. Meanwhile, your plate remained unfinished. The fluttering feeling in your stomach refused to leave.
“Well. it’s getting quite late, don’t you think?” You said, grabbing his attention once again. Your hands now clutched your bag, as if you were preparing to get up. “Well then,” He got up from his chair. You were a bit taken aback by his immediateness.
“I’ll drive you home.”

"Dammit, I keep failing this level," you exclaimed, frustration evident in your voice as you sat on the sofa, Nintendo Switch in hand. Satoru, lounging beside you with a can of soda, turned his attention to you upon hearing your complaint.
"You suck. Let me give it a try," he said, swiftly grabbing the Nintendo from your hands. As he played, his face contorted in amusement mingled with disbelief.
"This is the easiest level. You're horrible," he taunted, a snarky smile playing on his lips as he laughed hysterically. Rolling your eyes, you considered snatching the game back from him. Before you could react, another figure approached—Suguru Geto, Satoru's friend.
"Satoru, leave the poor girl alone," Suguru said quietly as he was approaching closer, though his sarcasm was palpable, earning a frown from you. Ignoring Suguru's comment, Satoru showed him the screen, prompting Suguru to glance at it before directing his attention to you.
"If you need help, Satoru isn't your best option," he remarked bluntly. "I... didn't ask him for help," you replied, annoyance evident in your tone, only to be cut off again. "Hey! If anything, I'm better than you. I'm the Nintendo expert," Satoru interjected, his childish nature clear.
"You're too boastful," Suguru retorted. With a final eye roll, you snatched the Nintendo back, the argument between Satoru and Suguru escalating behind you as you walked away, feeling somewhat unnoticed amidst their banter.
