There was a stoner I liked very much when I was playing age of Conan some ten or more years ago. He would roll up into the vent, yell my name and rip a fat one on mic before vanishing again. Always made me feel special. It was like a dog that would greet you by barking as loud as possible and wagging his tail so hard it leaves a dent in the wall when your car rolls up. Everyone was luke warm to cold on him but he was my fucking buddy and I loved him because he made me feel wanted which I sure as shit wasn’t getting at home!!

Eventually I made the decision to start emulating behaviors that made me feel happy and started doing that in other places. To this day my whole discord chants the nickname of whomever joins the call, like a pack of seagulls who just locked eyes on a delicious spare French fry. There’s nothing quite as amazing as walking into a room and hearing a chorus of loved ones drawing out your name like they were going to sweep you off your feet if they could, slash like a pack of feral dogs ready to bowl you the fuck over.

HERE'S WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NOW THAT TRUMP HAS BEEN SHOT

Republicans WILL and ALREADY ARE trying to make Trump a martyr. They're already using the fact that Biden has compared Trump to Hitler, vis a vis Trump using Nazi/fascist talking points, to claim that Biden has fanned the flames, making this shooting possible. This doesn't mean there's no weight to pointing out that Trump has, in fact, used Nazi talking points...

However, conservatives WILL shout to the mountaintops that YOU and all leftists are the ones who made this shooting possible. They will 100 times over hammer on you for calling Trump a fascist, They're not going to mention Project 2025 for a second. In my humble opinion, there's no use fighting this rhetoric. There's nothing to gain from proving them wrong on this front, even if It's relatively easy to do so. Their outrage, performative or not, will sway moderates and centrists like that. Done. Moderates will, unfortunately, see calling Trump a fascist as bloodsports. They'll say you're fearmongering. They'll call you unreasonable.

Instead, we need to focus on the facts. Project 2025 is freely available for everyone to cite. Don't lose focus. DO NOT give up our best shot at swaying the centrists. We have the benefits of being right. We have the benefits of being able to talk past all the conservative bullshit you're about to see online everywhere. And most importantly, we have the benefits from The Heritage Foundation having posted publically their plans for the USA.

If leftists, progressives, liberals, all of us can hijack this shooting as publicity for Trump's own plans for the US, I think we have a chance. Reblog, talk to your friends and neighbors, and most importantly, DO NOT GIVE IN TO THE DOOMERISM. That's what Trumpies want. We can win this.
