what are the chances of grimmjow being much more of a cuddler than he looks due to really enjoying body heat?
he's like that as is—meshing as close as he can get until he's nearly crawling into your skin. if you asked him about it towards the beginning of your relationship, he'd probably scrunch up his nose and want to deny it, but now he just gives you a "so fuckin' what?" before shoving his face into your sternum in some act of indignation.
he seeks you out whether or not he truly means to. he just can't help it.
maybe he missed the closeness of his pack before everything slid sideways. maybe he just hadn't realized how good it would feel to have your warmth bleeding down into his bones. hueco mundo was just as cold as it was unforgiving. it's almost natural instinct to try and huddle around the warmest thing that he can find.
he's like this regardless, but humans especially bewilder him. arrancar run cold as is—being undead and all—but humans? humans radiate heat like some sort of mini flame that he can't quite get enough of.
his favorite is when he can get to you just after you've been in the sun for a while. you're almost deliciously warm and you smell just like the sun that you've been under all day.
making it past the couch is near impossible, and if you manage that, he still stalks and crowds you into your room—trying to get you to the bed and skin-to-skin as soon as possible. maybe his lips twitch a little if you giggle at his efforts, but he stays focused, jumpsuit going unzipped to hang down around his waist and his hands tugging at your shirt.
"grimmjow," you admonish, as if you aren't grinning at him anyway.
"not askin' for that, perv. jus' let me feel."
he purrs himself up a storm once he gets you down into the covers and your bare chest against his. even lets his hierro slip down to its weakest point possible just to greedily take in more of that heat.
he has to actively fight the urge to scoot down and bury his face in against the center of your chest for the millionth time since the two of you have gotten together, but despite his efforts, he'll eventually make his way there regardless.
put your hand in his hair and scratch along his scalp while he does. it'll get him kneading at your sides in contentment. <3
