@keferon ‘s mecha pilot jazz au has genuinely taken over my life. I’m absolutely feral and scratching at the walls. It’s brought me back to tumblr.

I’m especially fond of (insane about) the concept where Jazz’s mecha gets wrecked for whatever reason and Prowl scans the wreckage and becomes the mech himself. I had to draw it >:)

ok.idk if this is even close to what you meant but i had this vision and it gripped me so hard suddenly

listen ok imagine you're wandering in the woods at night and it's completely silent, not even the sound of nocturnal critters or insects buzzing. then you hear what sounds like a radio flipping through stations in the distance. you think at first it's another person out here, so you follow the sound. you step into a big clearing and realize the radio is coming from way up up high, from some kind of big blocky metal looking structure and you call out, expecting someone to be up top with the radio.

and then the whole damn thing moves, it has limbs, it hunches down, far too quietly for something of its size, and there are two giant lights shining down on you. a pair of eyes, you realize.

it makes a kind of buzzing, clicking electronic sound and something at its midsection hinges open?? and in the moonlight, craning your neck up, you can only see dark shapeless masses crawling out of it, one pair of glowing eyes after another, all staring down at you, clicking and hissing and whirring. one of them makes some beeping sounds, like something you'd hear from star wars, and stares unmoving at you as if it expects a response.

the biggest one (the mother????) tilts its...head?? horns canting to the side, then the radio clicks back on, cycling through channels too quickly for you to make out any full words. then it makes a noise that sounds awfully like a person clearing their throat.

and then it speaks to you.

I was wondering What you think soundwaves and blasters reaction to Jazz's eyes would be?Jazz strikes me as a person to like never take his visor off for whatever ominous reason he might have. That one post you made a bit ago with the 'Void eyes' thingy had me thinking if jazz would be kinda spooky without it 😅.
