Dragon Age is the main reason I developed a love for games with choice! I didn't even know they existed until Dragon Age, lol! :D It was, and is, such a huge influence on my life!

I romanced:

DA:Origins: Alistair (my word it ended badly on my first run because I was still trying to come to terms with the fact my choices had consequences in a game, lol!)

DA:2: Fenris.

DA: I: Solas. (Yes, I am still totally heartbroken...it's fine...)

DA: Veilguard: Emmerich, followed close by Harding.

I think N and F would ADORE Dragon Age. The story and interaction would really be such a draw for them, even for N who usually dislikes stories in a technological form, lol.

A would just criticise the combat the entire time and how it wasn't accurate, lol.

You wouldn't even get M near it, hehe! Though it's possible they might sit and make 'uh huh' noises if a romanced-MC wanted to show them! :D

In Japanese, the phrase “We will always be together” (ずっと一緒にいる / zutto issho ni iru) is not something you can casually say to just any girl. It is a line reserved exclusively for someone you truly love. No Japanese person would use this expression if they only saw the other person as a friend.

That is why Natsu’s words carry such deep meaning. He was incredibly clever in the way he confessed his feelings. he revealed everything in the chapter 545: He wants to stay by Lucy’s side forever, not anyone else’s.

And that sound like a fairy tale ending: "and they lived happily ever after" 😎

Fairy Tail 20th Anniversary: Chapter 1 Manga Panel Redraw

I was debating on which panel to redraw, or if I should redraw a scene from the anime, but I chose a panel. I did use the anime for color inspo, and a few other things, like Lucy's leg band for her keys, and all three of them having their mouths open, but I WAS redrawing the manga panel, so I used the panel to get the proper poses and perspective.

Fairy Tail will always have a special place in my heart, tbh. I first started watching it way back in probably 2015 or so. Scouring YouTube for the latest episodes for Tartarus, and I swear, sometimes I feel like I need to rewatch that arc, cause I still feel like I may have missed an episode... And then came the manga. Fully got myself caught up with the anime, but then it took a break for a little while, so I dove headfirst into the manga and caught up there. And then when the final season came out, I watched it all, and when the 100 year quest manga dropped and I've been reading it as it's been serializing.

Natsu x Lucy was probably one of the first ship-fanarts I had ever done, I want really the type to draw fanart before that... I know shocker... But I mean, I didn't really know much about fandoms and fanart, and fanfics that much back then, because I didn't get social media until two years later, so yeah, those fanarts will probably never see the light of day, and I can't remember what sketchbook they are in...

I watched anime before Fairy Tail, but it was more something to watch to pass the time than actually enjoying it, and I didn't tell ANYONE I watched it. I mean, back then it wasn't pop-culture, and even when I first got to college I was super hesitant to say I liked it for fear of being called a "weeb" and I was worried to mention Fairy Tail because of how much (unnecessary) hate it gets. Regardless, nobody could ever stop me from watching Fairy Tail and loving it, or stop me from drawing Natsu.

So, in honor of Fairy Tail's 20th Anniversary, I chose to redraw a panel from the first chapter in my style. Enjoy!
