This is glorious and even thought it doesn’t fit in the range of all the paranormal, I MUST share

It works like this: You tell Kitestring that you’re in a dangerous place or situation, and give it a time frame of when to check in on you. If you don’t reply back when it checks your status, it’ll alert your emergency contacts with a custom message you set up.

It doesn’t require you to touch anything (like bSafe) or shake your phone (like Nirbhaya) to send the distress signal. Kitestring is smarter, because it doesn’t need an action to alert people, it needs inaction.

I am extremely scared at the moment because I feel like this page in particular is foreshadowing something. Toga is one of my favorite characters because of her backstory (and she adds a bit of chaotic energy in every panel she's in) and I really hope she doesn't get arrested in this arc.

No, but it does mark that his development is happening, and he's developing for the better. It's nice because he has actually changed from when we first met him to now.

Not condoning what he did at all, but his character is one of the most interesting because it shows what can happen to the 'gifted' kids when they are never shown the line that separates what is just wrong to do, and what's right.

He's like Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter, a lot of what he did was wrong, but the most interesting thing about him is how he grew to figure out that what he was doing wasn't what he wanted.

I'm not a bakugo stan, but I do enjoy him as a character. You're right, one moment does not erase 10 years of abuse, but you can say the same for Enji Todoroki, but people are starting to like him now (he's had more moments than one but still)

Why did I even do this rant, I'm a fan of the villains, not the heroes tbh-

You’re absolutely right! And I feel the same way towards Bakugo right now that I feel about Endeavour— I’m going to see where they go from here, I’m doing to see what happens, and I’m going to see if he really does better or if he’s just talking out of his ass.

As for Endeavour— he earned a lot of bonus points with me when he told Natsuo that he didn’t have to forgive him, but I’m doing my Endeavour vs Ozai essay when that part gets animated.

This was mostly a post in response to the people in the fandom who are saying that we can’t hate/dislike Bakugo anymore because of the recent chapter. ONE action doesn’t undo 10+ years of abuse— many actions, with relapses, with him genuinely trying, will set him free. And just like Natsuo to Endeavour, even if he does apologize, we don’t have to forgive him.

But honestly, I can do so many rants on why Bakugo and the diehard Bakuhoes make me extremely uncomfortable.

Yeah, and I'm uncomfortable with the Bakugo stans as well (let's just not mention how they draw him when he's still a CHILD) and I don't think I could say that anyone can't hate him after the sacrifice.

You can, it's like how you can hate any anime character for bad things they did.

Honestly, the Bakugo, Dabi, and Chisaki stans are the ones that scare me the most. Bakugou, for the way they put him in compromising positions and how they act like he didn't tell Midoriya to kill himself in chapter 1, Dabi because they act like he's a sweetheart when he's the only one in the league smiling at the destruction in chapter 282 or 283 (don't remember the exact chapter), and Chisaki because they ignore that he abused and killed Eri over and over to use her blood, traumatizing the poor child.

I like Bakugou from a writing standpoint, and I think he's getting better (mostly thanks to him having friends who call him out), but people are still able to hate him for all that he has done.

I could go on a full rant about how I don't think people should hate Midoriya, but that's another rant for another day.

Anyways, again, sorry for the rant. Mha is such a interesting show/manga from a writing standpoint and I could praise it for days on just the characters and their development.
