after YEARS of seeing this quote online and finding it to be the most deeply and resoundingly profound writing i finally found the source article and absolutely nothing could prepare me for this opening paragraph

Okay but the whole article is really interesting and also contains this quote which I’ve never heard before but really like:

“Anyone worth knowing is inevitably also going to be exasperating”

#i've been thinking about this quote SO MUCH the last few months #weird that it's the first thing i see when i back and the last thing i'll see before i disappear again!

it is so clear that at least 3/7 absolutely hate this album, and that the other 4 are ambivalent at best.

#the fact that they're openly talking about not wanting songs to end up on the final tracklist is certainly a choice #anyway breaking my hiatus temporarily to say that! also i have a concussion and the phd is making slow progress! boooo #also the fact that even the diehard fans are calling this release mediocre is really really telling #it's just...it's not great! most of it is not even good!
