They always start with “this is how my grandmother died making this recipe”

and then it’s like “tips on how to whisk the mixture like it’s the only thing you’ve ever done” but you have no idea what step whisking is yet, or even what you’re whisking

And then some of them have the audacity to be like “here’s some links to some related recipes” that also have this format

and finally you get to something called “what you need” and it’ll be like “a spatula and a penchant for stoicism” in a paragraph

And you get to the recipe finally and you never look at the other stuff and it’s so annoying, when will this end
