“I don’t know. I’m not the one who said it, you did. Don’t you know context?” He narrowed his eyes accusingly at Hayes before chuckling the thoughts away. “Okay, no White Tiger.“ He suddenly became excited again when the other said he would take the quiz. “Really?! Okay. Awesome! Okay,” Suddenly he changed his tone and began in a more radio announcer tone, “question one: A stranger on the street gives you 200 bucks. Do you accept it or not?” 

"I do know context. You took it the wrong way." Shaking his head in amusement, he normally wasn't one to take these type of quizzes but the guy seemed way too excited for it and he didn't want to let him down. "Damn, that's a tough first question. I mean, part of me wants to take it but then again, I'd feel bad. So i'm just going to say no because who knows where that money comes from."

Connor nods in understanding as she speaks, “No, of course,” he agrees as he speaks, “Yeah, no, they’re still kids. I mean, I dunno, I don’t wanna downplay what my mom does. She’s pretty amazing, but they’re pretty good kids. I don’t know if they look up to me. I think I’m just someone to go fetch them things and make them dinner,” Connor laughs brightly.

“That kind of sounds like you took over the dad duties.” Hayes smiled, meaning it in a nice way and not some prying, offensive way. “They probably think that they’re older brother is a good guy so whenever they ask him for things, he just does it. And I bet it’s hard to say  no when they use puppy eyes.”

The weirdest thing on the list is… a White Tiger.” Lloyd cleared his throat before beginning. The White Tiger: you are unique; a graceful yet cunning animology. Yet, even with your strength, you are very easy prey to others. Does that sound like you?” 

"How did that sound sexual? I only implied that you get excited easily, you know, excited as in happy... Nothing sexual about it. Get your mind out of the gutter." Shaking his head, he crossed his arms. "Hmm, that doesn't like me at all. So white tiger is out of the question then. But okay, you got me intrigued. I'll take the quiz."

"You get excited over the littlest things, don't you?" Shaking his head, Hayes looked at the magazine. "I'm probably going to be something weird like a platypus or something."

Scarlet red of the velvet ribbon between her fingers matching that of her lips, Lana reached back to finish tying a bow in place, hair falling down in messy mermaid waves as she studied the dozens of posters plastered over the noticeboard in front of her. “I just don’t know who would do something like this,” she cooed with a nonchalant cluck of her tongue, eyes flitting between the images of Cori mid scantily clad hookup that she’d blown up to full size and pinned all over the walls an hour earlier. “It’s just fucking barbaric, don’t you think?”

"I'm not really sure what exactly it is that I'm looking at." Hayes frowned, trying to make sense of the pictures. "What is this supposed to be?"

Frankie held her newest purchase of a fidget spinner against her hip bone under the table, spinning it so frequently the motion bordered on obsession. Papers were sprawled all of the table, the nude life drawings she was working on displayed prominently. She stopped fidget spinning momentarily to flick her pencil over at the person sitting across from her, a childish, attention seeking gesture. “Hey, did you know that I once got eaten out to a Neutral Milk Hotel song? It’s like my whole life is a parody of itself.” She picked up one of her life drawings, holding up the scrawled naked figure to her study companion. “What do you think? Is she hotter than me?”

Reading the next paragraph in his text book, Hayes grabbed a marker and highlighted some sentences that could be of importance later on. Eventhough most classes were already over, he liked to keep up to date with things. He looked up in surprise when a pencil hit him on the head. Raising his brow, he looked at the girl opposite him, kind of stunned at her sudden revelation. "Good for you. As long as it was good you can't really complain." Shaking his head, he turned back to his book but appearantly she wasn't finished yet. "I don't usually find drawings all that attractive. Besides, it looks like it's more focus on her body than her face."

“Oh,” Connor laughs, “I think it’s different when you’re the same age, or around it. They’ve always been babies. They’re still babies,” he shrugs, “And my brother is the same to me as my sisters. They’re all just kids. I love them a lot. I mean, they’re as annoying as kids are, I don’t really get mad at them over it. You know? Like, they scream over bugs, and they wanna watch the same movie over and over. It’s just distracting them. They’re, uh, ten, eight, seven, and four, so,” he nods, “Seems unreasonable to blame them for much.”

"Being the same age makes it more difficult. Especially when you have different interests but still want to look out for one another. Or me for her as I don't want her to end up in a bad place." Hayes shrugged, sometimes hating how overprotective he could get but it was for a good cause. "Oh, hey're still very young then. Alright, then I get it. They're not so hard to handle when they're those ages. And they probably look up to you a lot."
