Still out of curiosity to spot the source of the outburst he shifted his position to its direction — only to catch her looking directly at him. His expression read of confusion but that was soon changed when he noticed the mentioned dog right beside his feet. When did it get there? This easily would have prompted a response of ❛ That dog does not belong to me lady.❜ if it were not for the act of the dog being taken away by its true owners to it. Once the situation was cleared up and she apologized, he mirrored the girls actions, placing a hand behind his own neck due to the awkward moment. He simply could have told her it was okay and go went to minding his own business but the brightness that left her eyes, and the precious smile withered away did not sit right with him, ❝ Hey miss... If you're that upset about It, I have three dogs of my own that would enjoy your company. ❞
