the dragon and human form were both so delicious that i genuinely had to draw them both and break the rules of… physics? idk the universe so that they could exist simultaneously (also could not resist designing the human form a new outfit bc i love fashion)

this was SO much fun to do, my markers and i are rarely this happy, ts lowkey cured my art block

Silverflare (Winter): grey colourpoint with dark blue eyes

Scorchtalon (Peril): gold tabby (like the ones that are born with black fur but become lighter as they age (idk its very important to me that Peril has a black nose)) with low white and blue eyes

Shellcloud (Turtle): grey tabby with amber eyes

Dewwhisper (Moon): long-haired black smoke with vitiligo and green eyes

Peachblaze (Kinkajou): ginger with high white and blue eyes

Swordtail

Here, it's this guy. He's a big boy. This is a rendition of what Swordtail might look like in the graphic novel style (I don't think Silkwings have a design yet). I sure don't envy the person who will have to draw Silkwing patterns for several hundred panels in a row. Ha ha.

I like Swordtail. He seems fun. I'm looking forward to reading his book where he and Luna join the resistance on Pantala and stage a coup against Queen Wasp with the help of their Pantalan friends. I can rest assured that that will definitely happen and he is not going to get Kinkajou'd. That would honestly just be rude.

DUDE i just realized one of my figures looks exactly like a sharpwing!!??

i named her originally after Zoya, one of my fav grishaverse characters because she has a dragon form (the form does not look like the figure tho, the fierce expression just reminded me of Zoya)

but now im thinking… should i rename it Nineteen…

doodled a few rainwings in psychology class (the dragons have nothing to do with psychology i just tend to draw something while listening to the teacher)

i was thinking of kinkajou and glory when drawing them but you can interpret them as any rainwings you want

also did this as sort of a celebration for kinkajou’s book which i am SO EXCITED FORRR (especially bc sooo many ppl are hating on tui’s decision… let her cook)
