went on my first date tonight. was the weirdest feeling but felt so good to get out of my shell.

who knows what's going to happen but im so proud of myself i was able to put myself out there again<3

reminds me of the true people in my life. don't be afraid to reach out to your friends ESPECIALLY when going through heartbreak. they are always there for you to listen and talk to and you should always appreciate that.

life list movie

i watched the movie 'life list' on netflix the other day and i have never had more of an eye opening moment in my life.

there was this particular scene that i made sure to write down. the main character asks "how did you know he was the one" and she answers "remember the 4 questions your mum reminded me of?" and then they proceed to list them and WOW! genuinely knowing i couldn't answer this for my ex anymore made me realise that no matter how much i miss him or want to get back with him, he isn't my person. so, i thought to share the questions today.

Can you tell him everything in your heart?

Is he kind?

Does he help you become the best version of yourself?

Can you imagine him the father of your children?

something to think about and definitely something i want for my future partner. so glad i watched this and can't wait for more lessons i learnt.

i saw something the other day and had to share: "the best revenge will always be none. cry your soul out, heal, grow forward, accept what you can't change, but NEVER become those who hurt you." and i couldn't agree more.

spoilt myself today to a coffee and a cinnamon scroll that i forgot to take a photo of OOPS haha feeling alone today but also feeling really free, still deciding what i want to do today.
