i’ve been trying to figure out my lesbian identity for a hot minute and i haven’t seen anyone talking about this so i’m putting it here.

i feel like i identify in a more female presenting way aka i am not masc/butch when it comes to those dynamics but rather attracted to people who identify as such. i like being feminine and being the more “stereotypically” feminine person in a wlw relationship.

i also heavily identify with the idea of femmes using their ability of straight passing to protecting mascs/butches/studs etc. learning about queer history and context i feel like this is a really powerful way to help the community.

however (and this is going to make me sound stupid) i feel like im not feminine or pretty enough to be fem or femme.

i’m also aware that fem and femme mean different things and i’m still navigating that as well. but i never really see anyone talking about this so i feel like im in some gray area. also not having a label is totally fine but i usually feel more comfortable being able to put a name to my identity and feeling. this is just a personal thing.

has anyone ever experienced this or something similar?
