i know the casting animation change from dao to da2 is supposed to be a “let’s pretend it always looked like this” but it’s too funny to me how in origins ur using magic for the first time as your lil sheltered circle mage jabbing their big glorified tree branch awkwardly into thin air over and over again and then we get to da2 and Hawke is twirling their staff around like an overzealous baton girl in a marching band and beating people to shit with the big knife tied to the end of it

The Tribunal are bad because they were given unimaginable God like powers and they still let Vivec build 5-9 annoying ass cantons that cannot be navigated to save your life without a map, a compass, GPS and being fed instructions through an earbud

Speaking strictly about ESO here but I love that you got all the crafting stations and the bank conveniently placed in 20 square feet in the mud outside his glorious City but heaven forbids you need to find an outfit station or a grocer or the right daily quest NPC, you must bid your farewell to your friends, your parents, you weeping wife and crying children asking if you will come back as you venture into the unknown, hoping you find your way out of Canton number 3 before your food and water run out and you die at the mercy of the dual colored asscheek God and his identical fucking multileveled Cantons
