So, I may have collapsed at the neurologist’s office today…. Ok, yes I did. They did an #eeg & tomorrow is another MRI to make sure I still have a “clean brain”. I have had vision issues in my left eye since the last #seizure so I need to see an ophthalmologist too. Today’s #selfportrait is entitled “From Where I Came”. I was so flattered the day that someone viewed one of my self portraits, knowing that I only created them when in great physical pain from my chronic illness , and they said "like Frida"

It seems that I only create these self portraits when I am in “off-the-chart” pain. They are they only thing my screaming brain will tolerate and I feel as though they are my only means of expression.

They are ….. cathartic.
