One last thing I will say why this is important that Taylor who chose a public job of having a ton of fans and gaining such a huge fanbase, realizing the power her voice holds and perusing her fanbase sometimes to even fight the battles and know how impactful they are, heck making a whole documentary on such impact and understanding that power and making promises.
I sit here all day fucking angry fucking calling every place I can, researching the law and bringing up things with my peers (law field) and thinking how in the world I could change, I could do something that this wouldn’t repeat this WOULDNT be normal this wouldn’t happen every day, I see my beautiful mutuals who want to be heard who want to feel supported by Taylor and see their idol to stand up and say something asking entire day why she hasn’t said anything. Person who actually has millions and millions people of platform who can post a heartfelt message at minimum and post resources her eagorous fanbase could use and invest time instead of trying to fire some minimum paid jobs employee, who can make her fans feel loved and accepted and stand up for fucking racism as it’s most basic thing in the world just keep quiet entire day long until she finally throws a half ass bone post repost of the picture people have seen million times already without any effort and message that would impact people and make at least some of her millions followers use resources, petitions, protest and talk about it. I’m seeing a person who has a power to do something but not caring enough to do it until she’s been called out to so much she throws this and it MAKES ME SO ANGRY. Every single person with a powerful platform with the ability to be able to do something and put actual effort and failed today SHAME ON YOU. And bet my ass when my fav does this and hurts to see how much she could have she deserves to be called out so if I see a single white person speaking over black fans and saying she did enough I’m blocking you I’m going after you literally stfu and don’t speak over why people care and call her out and why this isn’t enough. And Taylor? Please do better.
