if you think that flint doesn't live with mack and elena you are dead wrong
their house always smells delicious
mack is obsessed with grilling/smoking, it is literally all he does in the summer
they definitely have a gym in their garage
movie nights, every friday night
they have to put all the titles into a hat to choose because otherwise they'd argue all night over what to watch
(they, surprisingly, still like robot movies)
they definitely have a dog
most likely a mutt that they either found or adopted
elena takes deke on her morning runs through their neighborhood
mack is definitely That Dad™ who's like, "the dogs not living in the house, he can't be on the couch, don't let the dog on the bed," but then ends up being the dog's favorite
mack and elena's house is the place where all flint's friends come to hang out
(they're the cool parents, elena definitely lets this go to her head)
there's always cold lemonade in the summers and hot cocoa in the winter
elena teaches them self defense if they're interested
and mack teaches them how to change the oil in their car

their couch has an insane amount if blankets that never get refolded, despite how much mack fusses about it

they always stop for dairy queen on the way home
elena doesn't have the patience for reading, but she loves audio books and podcasts
she mostly listens to children's series (percy jackson, harry potter, artemis fowl), she finds them comforting
mack and elena touch each other casually a lot
kisses on the head and cheek, brushing their hands across each others' backs when they pass
they also say i love you a lot
randomly, out of the blue, as soon as they wake up, when they walk into a room, when they pop out to go to the mailbox
"love you" is the same as "hello" or "see you in a minute" in their house
