Cop Says, “I’m Gonna Get that N****r” Before Chasing Down Innocent Man, Strangling Him to Death

Stonewall, MS — Jonathan Sanders was a horse trainer, who was often seen riding around town in his horse-drawn buggy. Sadly, thanks to a Mississippi cop, Sanders will not be seen driving that buggy any longer.

Last Wednesday, Sanders was out in his buggy when he saw an altercation between Officer Kevin Herrington and another man, whom Sanders knew.According to an attorney for the family, C.J. Lawrence, Sanders attempted to diffuse the altercation and asked Herrington to leave the man alone. Sanders then proceeded on his way.

According to the Huffington post, a witness allegedly heard Herrington say, “I’m gonna get that n*gger.” 

Multiple witnesses watched as Herrington then got in his car and chased down Sanders. They then saw Herrington get behind Sanders with his patrol car and turn on his lights, spooking his horse. As the horse took off, Sanders gets knocked from the buggy, but immediately got up to pursue his horse, not realizing what had just happened.

“Jonathan immediately began to run after his horse, unaware of what was going on behind him,” Lawrence said. “Herrington proceeded to chase Jonathan.”

To see where he was going, Sanders wore a headlight. When he caught up to Sanders,

Herrington grabbed his headlight, threw the man to his knees, and began to strangle him as Sanders was in a “praying position.” Witnesses watched as Herrington, with both arms around his neck, strangled the life out of Sanders. 

 Sanders was in the headlock for 20 minutes which is more than enough time for him to have stopped breathing, gone unconscious, and died.

One of the witnesses, a corrections officer in Stonewall, allegedly came out to confront Herrington in an attempt to stop the murder. He pleaded with Herrington to let Sanders go, at which point the officer claimed that Sanders “reached for his gun.” Still the corrections officer asked him to let the now dying man free so he could attempt CPR, but Herrington refused, according to the witness.

Harrington has been placed on administrative leave without pay as authorities investigate what happened, The Clarion Ledger reported.

We live in a really weird era of feminism in which we’re not allowed to criticise any oppressive constructs/industries (marriage, beauty/make up, porn, etc) just because some women enjoy them.

I’m really sick of of opinions and discussions being shut down with “it’s not oppressive if we like it! don’t you know that some women choose to do these things?”

well, heck. don’t you know that  men/the patriarchy have a lot to gain in keeping us content and complicit in our own oppression?

I think our generation of feminists have lost the idea of there being an oppressive structure (patriarchy) which moulds and controls the actions of individual women. So when we say “High heels are oppressive, they are a way of controlling women’s bodies, preventing us from being able to run and deforming our feet” a lot of women hear this as “Women who wear high heels are all stupid and not proper feminists. They are gullible stooges of patriarchy!” This is because Western women have been brought up in a culture that emphasizes individualism and personal choices and ignores the coercive social and cultural structures and hierarchies within which those choices are made.

The criticism is not of individual women and the question is not whether individual women do or don’t choose to wear high heels. The criticism is of the patriarchal system that coerces women into wearing high heels and that denies women a genuinely free choice as to whether or not to wear high heels.

So I saw on the news today that, unfortunately, I was right: they DID tase Sandra Bland. They took her off camera and tased her. You can hear her agonized screams as the cop continues to yell at her to be still and take her punishment for daring to talk back.

Let me explain to you why this would have killed Sandra if they kept doing it.

Sandra had epilepsy, the medication for which can severely weaken the body and heart long after one has stopped taking it.

How do I know this? Because I, a bipolar person, took Depakote – an epilepsy medication – for years and suffered its side effects firsthand. Even after coming off the medication, I know that if I was tased by an officer, I would very likely die. My heart just wouldn’t be able to take it.

And it’s likely that Sandra Bland – who had been on epilepsy medication far longer than I – wouldn’t have been able to take it either. They likely tased her again at the station and she died.

Now they’re saying she hung herself with trash bags and blankets that weren’t in the cell – the story keeps changing because the lies keep changing – and they’re saying she had marijuana in her system, which for them is the most incriminating thing of all.

They could not have found marijuana in her system after THREE DAYS of sitting in jail unless they found it POST MORTEM.

Either she was dead when they found the drugs in her system, or they used some other prisoner’s test results to fabricate this lie.

The truth is, they bullied her into an arrest to fill a quota, tased her for talking back, and accidentally killed her, not knowing that her medicated heart could not take it.

The forms she signed on entry said she had no cuts on her arms. And yet she had cuts on her arms post mortem.

The forms also said she had a medical condition but that she wasn’t getting her medication. And we can actually hear Sandra saying in the video that she has epilepsy.

People keep saying she tried to kill herself because she lost a child before. That doesn’t mean she killed herself now. They are using her past to damn her.

It’s disgusting. Because I know if it had happened to me, they’d just say, “Oh, she’s bipolar, so she must’ve killed herself.” They would use this stigma to write off my murder. And people would believe it. Because who listens to crazy people?

Sandra Bland was murdered. Probably accidentally. But she was killed. And yet somehow, it’s still her fault for talking back, for trying to break free when he injured her arm, for BEING BLACK.

Terrorist Shooting At Louisiana Theater Leaves 3 Dead, Including Gunman

A gunman opened fire Thursday night in a movie theater in Lafayette, Louisiana, killing two people and himself. The shooter, identified on Friday as John Russel Houser, 59, was described by police as a “drifter” who was living in a motel.

As moviegoers settled in for the comedy “Trainwreck,” John Russell Houser stood up and fired 13 shots using a .40-caliber handgun, police said. Authorities also said that Houser had parked his car near the theater’s exit, so that he could get a quit escape. But when he reportedly tried to leave with others in the theater who were trying to flee, and he saw police responding, he turned into the crowd and shot himself

Police identified the two victims as 21-year-old Mayci Breaux and 33-year-old Jillian Johnson. Nine other people were wounded. Both are being hailed as heroes for saving their friends.

Teachers Jena Meaux and Ali Martin survived the attack, but both reportedly suffered gunshot wounds. Gov. Bobby Jindal says one of the women leaped in front of the other in an effort to protect her – and that the second woman then activated a fire alarm in the theater.

“The sound of that alarm caused an evacuation of the rest of the movie theater,” The Times-Picayune reports, citing a witness who was at another movie showing in the theater.

Jindal described what happened:

“One teacher literally jumping over her friend, potentially saving her life. Second teacher felt like that bullet would have hit her in the head if her friend hadn’t jumped on her. The second teacher was shot anyway, in the leg — had the presence of mind to pull that fire alarm.”

Several news stations are already pinning the “mental illness” and “lone wolf” narrative on this terrorist. 

Police are still looking for a motive for the shooter, but so far no futher details have surfaced.
