So around November a friend gave me a deer carcass for a project I’m in the process of cultivating. I left it hang in a tree over winter to dry out. Today, I went to take it down…but to my surprise, I found new life forming in the heart of death.

[I just realized why Hela should probably never RP with Vlad, or any other vampire.

Because she'd be very confused as to what this Barrow Wight was doing, possessing a corpse, drinking strange things, and just being quite a nuisance.

And she wouldn't understand that he doesn't have a god of Death to answer to, and would just be dragging him by his ear around the worlds, demanding to know who left their charge to wander around, like an annoyed neighbor returning a stray chihuahua.

She's never seen a vampire. They don't die in a manner that lets them into her realm, probably. So they are abnormal yap-yap dogs, that must be returned to their Underworld, so she can give whatever entity that rules it a stern talking to.

5. The Shadow Tomten rides the Night-Warg. Inspired by Harald Wiberg’s illustrations (from the “Tomten” book series) this drawing takes the concept of the friendly Tomten and flips it in reverse! He is the Shadow Tomten who comes from his deep lair to hunt by the moonlight. He takes care of the wild creatures and dreams of blood on the snow and the scent of prey.
