A most peculiar celebration

The Transfigured are nymphs to whom the olympian gods caused harm. To escape rape, they had to transfigure and live an eternity in the form of trees, flowers, birds and springs.

Milleniums have passed, and the transfigurations slowly come to an end. Daphne, Syrinx, Arethusa and others gather, united by the same grudges. Apollo will be the first to face their wrath. ____________________________________________________

Je vous présente Chronographe, un projet d’artbook auquel je participe et qui réunit 40 artistes ! C’est un recueil d’illustrations et de BDs que nous finançons avec Ulule. How important would you say going to school is, in the creative industry?

When you're looking for a job in the animation field, studios are not gonna look at your diplomas, but rather your portfolio and/or showreel. So I think school is not that important, you can be self-taught, everything you need is on the internet ;) On the other hand, I've heard that you might need a proper diploma if you wanna work abroad (to get a visa). Maybe you should verify that. And before you decide to learn by yourself, make sure you feel able to work alone and you can produce regular work and stick to your schedule ! Personnaly I wouldn't be able to do that, I need a place to work and to be with other students PS : sorry I just noticed you were not talking specifically about animation. For the other art fields I couldn't say
