Sometimes I get a hyperfixation so strong I’m thinking “surely this will last forever”. It never does and it breaks my heart every time because I feel like I have once again failed to hold onto to something for more than a month (at most).

But then there is star wars. I got obsessed with the mandalorian, then the clone wars series, rebels, star wars jedi games and so on. Then I read a few books and got sucked into the high republic era. At one point I got bored in class and started reading actual academic papers about star wars. Right now the acolyte occupies my mind. These are all different pieces of media but since all of them fall under the star wars franchise, it doesn’t feel like I have failed and lost interest in my hyperfixation once again. I can’t wait to see what corner I’ll get obsessed with next because I know it’ll still feel like home in a galaxy far, far away.

the way that both the artful dodger and my lady jane are about historical annoyances to lovers ships where one of them is a healer and the other has something they want to be cured of and over time they fall in love and help each other with their issues despite society's attempts to dissuade them from one another. i just think that's neat :)

best kind of shows are the ones where you take a step back and it's like! oh I really AM watching king edward vi fight an elderly nun (he's using a poker she's using a mace) (she caught the cat shapeshifter guy edward has a crush on in an attempt to stop them escaping the nunnery) (which they're in for reasons) to a cover of you really got me. and I'm having the time of my LIFE.

Was a first class passenger on the Colin hate train but I actually want to enjoy this season so I've gotta admit s3 has me rethinking some things and actually Colin is just a delulu girly. He's a mirrorball girlie. He's just curling up at night with his stories. He's dreaming of romance. He's manifesting a completely different versions of himself. He's travel journaling. He thinks every problem can be solved by planning a new holiday and changing his personality. He tries and fails to have a hot girl summer every summer. Hes making a pinterest board with actual pins.
