Removing the fact that Rhysand is biracial or a man of colour to fuel your hate of him is so funny... And wrong.
Calling him a "white man" when there is clear racism against him in the books when Kier and the CoN didn't used to listen to him cause of his Illyrian heritage makes you wrong.
The Illyrians/batboys aren't "taned white people" THEY ARE PEOPLE OF COLOUR get that right.
Yâall turned on Mor so fast for ERIS and Iâll never forgive that.
Just for the allusions that there might be more to the story between them.
So many in the fandom IMMEDIATELY turned it into âMor is a big fat liar who will betray the NC and Eris is just an innocent bby boy victim with daddy issues đĽşâ
feyre w Tamlin: i donât wanna be JUST a house wife. i want to be useful. I want to help. I want to fight. I want to train. I want to help our villages. I want to be involved in the meetings. I want to build relationships with our people.
Feyre w Rhys: Is high lady as well as his wife, did a small intimate wedding like she wanted. Is useful other than sitting beside a throne. Helps w planning for war. Fights against Hyberns attack in Velaris. Trains w Cassian almost everyday. Sits with Rhys and listens to their townspeopleâs complains and find solutions. Is right there leading meeting with Rhysand and the IC. Opens a shop to help teach children to paint- connecting with them and their parents. Creating friends with the towns people. Connecting with the Widowed Shop Lady having a meaningful conversation with her. Having conversations with the townspeople as she walks through Velaris.
Fans after seeing Feyre attend parties and wear dresses w Rhys: oh well look what we have here sheâs playing dress up blah blah blah
this is the literal opposite of my post. no one has to say why they donât like something if they donât want to. sometimes, people just donât enjoy something and thereâs nothing expand upon.
Okay so the whole âRhys said he fell in love with Feyre bc she reminded him of Cassianâ joke is funny and all but on a more serious note..
Imagine missing your family for 50 years. Imagine thinking you will never see them again. Believing whole heartedly that youâre doomed to live out your immortal life as a sex slave in order to keep your family safe.
And then comes someone, who for the first time in 50 years, reminds you of said family. Who reminds you of that family you are protecting with everything you have including your dignity. And said person is the reason for the first time you feel hope you will see your family again.
And you can see that else on fitting in right at home with your family if you both make it out alive.
i hate hate hate when nesta is called selfish yet she was the one to calculate how many ships were required for an evacuation of the mortals in the village who despised them when they were poor, begged the queens to consider the innocent lives, and demanded the same of beron
if she only cared for herself, she'd have taken the offer to go to velaris, but instead she stayed because elain wanted to remain with graysen so she paused her own safety
â˘gave Feyre the grace she needed to go back to her man in Prythian (Feyre felt like she had to take care of them up until that point, thanks to Mama Aâs manipulation)
â˘spent her teen years & early adulthood trying to bid herself off to ensure her familyâs future, and also tried to marry Elain to someone worthy
â˘came out of the Cauldron completely traumatized but Elain was still her #1 priority
â˘covered Cassian with her OWN body during a literal war
â˘separated herself from her loved ones because she felt that she was not worthy of their love & because she thought she failed them.
â˘endured training in hopes of being an inspiration to other females who suffered like she did
â˘was forced into the Blood Rite and her main driving force was ensuring the livelihoods of her friends
â˘nearly escaped death & was ready to give up everything she was & would be so her sister and nephew could live
If you come out of these books thinking Nesta Archeron is selfish, then you clearly missed a major point.
Mind you, this is a quote from Feyre herself about Nesta:
It's upsets me that people believe Elain is someone who would never have the ability to hurt anyone but choose to forget that Elain k**led the King of Hybern for Nesta .
Itâs funny how the âFeyre only became HighLady because of Rhysâ crowd never acknowledges how he was only able to continue ruling the NC because Feyre freed him along with the rest of Prythian.
Miss Feyre has the power of all 7 high lords... if she wanted to I think she could be high queen, but instead she's just ruling the night court with her hot husband, painting her pretty paintings and running her art studio, and caring for her sweet little son.
She saved Pythian and is now enjoying the benefits and I love that for her.
Writing my own novel is fun but knowing I can never ever write a love story that could rival Feysand is honestly so demotivating which is very funny but also so real like... no one can compare. Ever. And it will stay that way forever.
you all know its possible to like both nesta and the inner circle, right? it is possible to like both nesta and rhysand... also, the Fanon version of so many of these characters is completely different from the actual canon version. I feel like so many acotar fans don't actually like acotar lol
