Kitchen at 3 a.m. has me thinking Elain is stress baking and/or has an event coming up—so also stress baking (not to be too “woman in kitchen🫵” but in my defense, she IS a baker!). I could lean either way with Tamlin or Lucien starting the slow dance, but my vagina is swaying me towards Tamlin at the moment. I can see him coming back from patrolling the grounds and seeing her still awake. He notices her in distress because she always bites off more than she can chew (though she always gets it done meticulously!), so in order to calm her down, he grabs her hand and takes her for a spin around the kitchen (: also Lucien is drooling in bed sound asleep because Tamlin cracked that thang 😁

also modern au where Lucien starts the slow dance while they listen to [insert favorite slow song here] and wash dishes after hosting a dinner at their house. They all 3 dance in this scenario, and Tamlin gets dipped by Lucien. The cords in his arms totally flex too btw.

Okay fine if Tamlin left, I think he would leave behind the Spring Court for them. His last final gift to his loves, a sanctuary for them that they built into a home together. 

If Lucien left, Tamlin AND Elain would be walking around so stylish with his wardrobe. Androgyny lives on yayyyy 🥳

Elain would leave behind some kind of invasive plant. She was able to maintain it and keep it at bay, but without her green thumb, that shit just grows and grows. Of course, Tamlin & Lucien don’t have the heart to dig it up and dispose of it, so they let it grow and consume the lands.

Oh boy, they’re definitely going back to the day(s) they ran away from their training camps (I believe that to be true in my head). Not only was it their first time together, but also before the walls of their fantasy came crashing down on them. It was so sweet before they had to face the reality of being sons of two disputing High Lords and the doom that followed ):

Oohhh!!! Honestly, I think Ianthe does but NOT in a good way. Definitely had malicious intent behind it, like she’s definitely saying it to manipulate Feyre. Of course Feyre is all in, I mean she did just make her nut a hundred times. Feyre says it back in earnest. Whatever you say priestess 😍

However, I can see Stryga saying “I love you” to Ianthe but in a “I love you, my creation” kind of way. The Weaver’s in awe at her own work, and marveled at what a gift it was to have such a beautiful canvas to experiment on 😇 (Ianthe x Stryga Frankenstein lives on)

🔥 What's the pettiest thing they've ever argued about?

Oh my god, so many. It’s a nonstop “I told you so!” brawl between them. I know it’s not THE pettiest but I’m thinking about that car ride back home after they were swindled with the masks and Lucien is definitely going off about how he said the party was sus but noooo! Nobody listens to the fox! 🙄

Anyways, I also believe they just get on each other’s nerves nonstop (in a “they’ve been married for 50 years” kind of way) so I can see little banal things pissing them off. “I know you moved my bandolier, Lucien!” “I didn’t move shit! But maybeee you should go ask Rhysand (ex from college who gifted Tamlin said bandolier) about it 😒” “Cauldron boil me, I haven’t even seen him in 60 years!”

Assuming theyre not mates in this hypothetical, I can see Eris accidentally saying something about how important mates are to fae and Elain taking it in and internalizing it until she deems herself unworthy. 100% would quietly pack her bags while he’s gone and write a passive aggressive note that’s like “go find your mate” and the entire trip back to Velaris she’s thinking “that motherfucker better come find me!” (and he does, she barely makes it down the street because one of his hounds have alerted him)

on the other hand, I can see Elain saying some off handed comment about Lucien (the mate she rejected but still secretly has unexplainable feelings for) and of course Eris would internalize that and deem himself unworthy and then HE packs his bags while she’s away and writes a lil note and—

Eris rubs her back with his hot hands (😉) until she falls back asleep on his chest. Elain makes him a cup of herbal tea & honey with his favorite cinnamon cookie. All actions wordless, because they both understand that no amount of frilly words can cease the nightmares that come 😁

👀Who gets jealous more easily & how obvious are they about it?

oohhh this is tough cause I feel like they both get severely jealous (which I LOVE). Nesta seems to be the one who would separate herself from the situation more and try to play it off and be like “I’m fine…😒” even though she’s clearly NOT fine. I can see Eris being the same way to a certain extent (ya know, family trauma n stuff and having to be careful) but I feel like he would be more obvious about his jealousy, or at least show it more. I also like the idea of fae not really being able to hide those primal instincts/emotions, no matter how hard they try, whereas Nesta spent a majority of her life hiding her true feelings.

anyways, all of that to say that Eris would be more obvious about his jealousy. Little flames definitely dance at his fingertips when he’s jealous and he pictures a million ways to kill the perpetrator(s). Also can see him finally having something(one) of his own and fighting like hell to keep it, no matter the cost.
