3_3_2019: Day 1
I am hoping that journaling again will help me accomplish my goals and be the person I know I can be-- on so many different levels. More recently I have been obsessing about my thyroid. Reading up on all the symptoms I have and how I can help overcome some of the battles I am experiencing.
Although jiu jitsu has done so many good things for me, I often think that the weight cutting and eating “clean” has caused me to binge eat when I am not competing. Nothing healthy about that, but also all self-control and discipline I thought I had just goes out the window for a 2 week span. I probably put my body into highs and lows quite often that it affects my health.
In a nutshell-- I’ll probably use this space as way to log my food consumption. I want to do better. If I take better care of myself, in my eyes I’m winning.
8am - woke up with a headache, a splitting headache! 10:30am - chai latte with skim milk + 2 egg bites 12-2pm - pro training: 30 minutes of drilling; 6 rounds; 2 situational rounds 3:00pm - 2 x 18oz water bottles, 1 bowl of quinoa, rotisserie chicken leg, mashed cauliflower, and 1/2 avocado from Hu Kitchen; 1 sea salt gluten free, dairy free cookie; more water. 5:30pm - 16oz skim matcha latte;
