ok but like.

sensitive hobie sexy. hobie who has previously proclaimed his dislike of labels but just really wants to know what the two of you are to each other. he knows you don't belong to him and he lets you know he knows, he doesn't want you to ever mistake his care for thinking he's got more authority over you than yourself, which makes things a little tricky when he really wants to show you off to almost everyone he knows. he's just proud of you and to be with you, okay?

helping hobie set up his shows. like, consider the man's status as an anarchist and vigilante, okay. he's not having these giant shows with security and tons of promotional work put into them. they're planned and set up in secret, invites by word of mouth and small things distributed to people instead of hung up everywhere. shows that are always ready to pack up at a moment's notice in case the cops roll up.

hobie with stacks upon stacks of books on his boat because he'll read anything he can get his hands on as long as they're interesting to him, and you bet you could borrow any of them if you wanted. books on equipment and how to repair things, handmade guides on how to handle any kinds of illegal materials, all of that. but fine literature too.

meeting hobie's MJ just to find out she's this queer proto-riot grrrl because he can empathize with feeling a little marginalized in a culture he and others like him have helped create. but neither of them are about to let themselves be pushed out or ignored because of other people's stereotypes about what being punk looks like. they're just gonna get louder.

hobie not only being willing to share his music with you, but being excited to hear what you can share with him. he's not gonna limit himself to only listening to punk when there's so much more out there he can hear.

watching hobie pin and sew his clothes when the rips and tears go from stylish to downright impossible to wear. of course he knows how to fix his clothes, he probably learned by sewing patches first, maybe altering some of the second hand stuff he's acquired over the years. he's been taking care of himself for a long time.

some questions i have about the whole. multiverse glitching thing. so, we know ppl glitch. 10/10 we see it, we love it

what is the threshold for glitching? like. how do objects work? do objects glitch like people? if someone eats food in another dimension before returning to their origin universe, would the food glitch inside of them? what about if someone left behind a body part in a different universe? would it glitch out? or like. bodily fluids?

what would happen hypothetically if someone from one universe conceived a child with someone from another universe? like obviously it would be an anomaly just by existing but. would it belong to both universes or neither? would it depend on which universe it's born in? would it be like any other dna determined trait and kinda randomly shuffled together? if a couple had one kid and it got assigned one of the origin universes by dna flags or some shit, could a second kid be assigned the other origin universe?
