Leaving Tumblr

As you guys probably didn’t notice 😝 I haven’t been very active lately. This is because I feel tumblr may no longer be the website for me. I think it’s having a negative impact on me and my mental state. As such soon I will be leaving tumblr, possibly forever.

Trying to work out your sexuality can be really difficult. Despite having asexual as my tumblr name I’m still not even sure if I am or not. I’d say if your worried about both being gay and straight bi sounds like a good fit but I know how hard it can be. My advice would be just to go with the flow. Try to stop worrying about labels as much, as hard as that can be. If you end up only liking girls that’s ok, or just guys. Also bi doesn’t have to be 50/50 so even if you feel like you like girls way more than guys, but you still think you like guys as well you can still totally call yourself bi

(Catch-22) So I am actually thinking of beginning to maybe consider telling my closest friend (she's only my closest friend because my actual bff may or may not hate me so I'm kinda afraid to call this friend a best friend) about me being bi, cuz I got Instagram (finally) and it would be easier to do that then face to face but maybe I should wait till I CAN do it face to face. I don't know. Also you're awesome.

Well my advice would be to do whatever makes you comfortable. If you feel like the easiest way for you to do it is through insta then I would do that. Start small and work your way up.

Hi this is the human calling them self Catch-22. I haven't talked to you in a while, but don't worry, I don't hate you. I usually just find things to say when I have no access to Tumblr and get out my steam by talking to myself, but right now I'm in bed so it's all good. So lately I've been getting this overwhelming need to tell someone about my bisexuality, but every time I begin to consider it, my chest hurts and I internally scream in emotional turmoil. Thoughts?

I don’t know how long this has been in my inbox for (gosh darn it tumblr mobile) so sorry if this is really late

My reccomendation would be to start really small. Maybe find just one person you really trust and tell them. If that goes well it might help ease some of the emotional turmoil. Or you could find somewhere anonymous to try and talk about it, kind of like what you’ve done here. It might help with the desire to tell someone. Feel free to message me to talk about it if you wish
