Man, I fuckin love my job.
Everything is gender, but to understand gender you must understand sex.
Man, this sure enough explains most of these fuckin' weirdos who currently exist in our government. What a bunch of weirdos.
This was a good food day. Thanks, Calgary.
Article for context: Monument to Human Chain Rescue Unveiled in Almaty
From the article above:
"The installation depicts a chain of people holding onto one another, symbolizing solidarity and mutual assistance. The hand of the final figure extends beyond the fence, allowing visitors to grasp it and symbolically take part in the rescue.
According to media reports, the identities of the individuals who took part in the rescue remain unknown."
I *love* this. 🥹
More dog rescue monuments, plz

One of my favorite Tumblr Holidays.
The problem with being an optimist in 2026
...is all the fucking dipshits out there playing around with fire, burning themselves and others, and making everything demonstrably worse all the fucking time.
Look, people, I love you, but I need you to get right, you're really harshing my worldview and I need you to stop.

Bono and the boys on it. Good.

@medidoctorate it's a blink and you miss it type thing but its when bucky is grumbling about having to read packets after the fundraising event haha he got takeout
the branding is pretty unmistakeable i think its so cute they went out of their way to show a local spot even in takeout form LOL
And now I want a chili half smoke. Again.

Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.
"I can note your interest in that feature for future development."
"Have you tried restarting?"
Look, I'm gonna say something here, and you can disagree if you like, but you're wrong.
This is the best thing John Williams has ever written. It's a long list of incredible things he's written (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Superman, etc), but this is the best of them. There isn't a wasted moment, not an extraneous note. There's no padding for time, there's just the statement of the theme in the solo trumpet, and then he develops the theme through the winds and strings. There's a mid section that shows the tremendous struggle of the heroes, and then a return to that triumphant theme.
This is where the good stuff is. Stellar shit. And I'm glad we get to hear it on repeat in the background of the NBC broadcasts for the next two weeks, because it's so damn good, even 30 years on.
