Our system name is Saros-System.
Pronouns for the whole system are they/them, because there are a few of us, and shi/hir, because we're bodily intersex. You can call us headmates or alters and address us all as y'all (not guys), team, crew, or just by Saros.
We're autistic and have ADHD.
We like horror and queer stories.

We have drafts from fucking April 2025. We couldn't clear them out consistently for almost half a year, because of our chronic pain, fatigue, balance issues, seizures and other health problems stemming from them. We really have been struggling for so long and only now got a wheelchair that we needed probably for longer than that.
This is a reminder that Internalized ableism kills. And ableism from family members is abuse.
We also spent much less time on anything we enjoy, including this blog, college, writing, drawing or reading. Because we were suffering too much to have any spoons left for joy. We just slept off the pain for half a year. Maybe eight months.
Yeah, we aren't going back. The wheelchair stays and we will look for some non-opioid painkillers for EDS that actually work.
The pain isn't worth it, we want to actually live our life. Even if it means upsetting our family.
Got some painkillers that work well enough with the wheelchair and the cane, at least for now. We will live our life in a way that works for us. Even if our mother doesn't like it.
If taking six pills a day and using mobility aids is the only way to live our life to the fullest, so be it!
Guess who just realised they also weren't working on their blog or art because they wanted to please their mother who can't even handle their brain and body working slightly differently? Who wanted to only focus on school because that's what their mother demanded of them? And give up their hobbies to make her happy?
Well, at least now we know it. Fuck her, fuck her mother, fuck our family. We can make our own decisions no matter their ideas of what we should spend our life on!
And now that we are coming to terms with going against her and being disabled, as well as getting the help we need it's a lot easier to do things like attend school or work on personal projects.
Turns out we just need to not listen to her and do what works for us.
Okay, so life finally seems to be working out for us. We might get a job (or at least an internship), our endometriosis is becoming much more manageable with birth control, we should be able to get the new wheelchair (although we do need help of our sister, at least so she can push our current wheelchair after we get the new one). We do have a geneticist referral and we have a neurologist appointment booked in like a month. Plus the process of realising and accepting we are our own person with our own mind, body and soul is still going, and it's slowly getting better each week. So we might actually go through most of our drafts still in June, or maybe in July.

April is “Autism Awareness Month”, so here are a few reminders for you to keep in mind:
Autism Speaks is a hate group.
The reasoning behind “Light It Up Blue” (that there are more autistic boys than girls) stems from a tendency in doctors to base their autism diagnoses on stereotypes and sometimes refuse to diagnose girls.
Most autistic people don’t want a “cure” for autism and don’t support Autism Speaks.
Autism Speaks has given abusive/ableist parents legitimacy by portraying autism as a terrifying, life-ruining affliction and sympathising with parents who have contemplated killing their children, or actually killed them.
The views of autistic people are more important in this topic than the views of our allistic family members and peers.
Autism is not a disease.
Very little (about 4%) of Autism Speaks’ proceeds go toward supporting autistic people. More of it goes toward catering.
Autism is not a tragedy.
What autistic people need is acceptance, not awareness.

i have a file or folder on my pc that i want to share with other people. let's call it gayshit.mp3
unfortunately gayshit.mp3 is 750mb and im not paying for discord nitro so i need another way to send it
i put it into qbittorrent and it makes a torrent file. this is essentially a very small file that points to gayshit.mp3 so other computers can find it. kinda like a treasure map
i send this tiny file to my friend, who loads it into qbittorrent. their computer takes a moment to find mine over the vast expanse of cyberspace and then (as long as my pc is running and the file is still where it should be), it gets copied from my hard drive to theirs
this is the cool part: if somebody else loads that tiny file, they can download it from both of us. if i'm offline but my friend is on, the third person can still get it. this also means that if two people have separate halves of the file, they can download the other half from each other. as long as some combination of people have the pieces between them, they can all have the whole thing.
crucially this does not require a server!!! you can just upload the file to a few people and as long as they keep it, it's still accessible. as long as somebody, somewhere is still connected, it's available forever. the only way it goes away is if everybody disconnects from it.
