If the SOMA theory is true, and the originals of the cast are still out there living their lives, it gives us as a fandom a truly unique opportunity to create plots, fanart, whatever, of the exact same people, and their exact same personalities, but completely new circumstances and issues, and have it be just as Canon as the actual show

You see the vision,SOMA being true opens so many scenarios to play with the characters real life versions,hell,shipwise there's no reason to limit it to only the most popular ships either,especially since real Jax would not develop the none of this is real bullshit thus would likely be more tolerable than canon Jax and neither real Gangle,Zooble or Ragatha would have any reasons to hold a grudge.
That being said,if the idea is to follow canon as close as possible,then the series might put some constraints/limitations into this scenario,by example,Jax,we do not know his backstory yet,only that he thinks there's nobody waiting for him outside,if the theory that he ran away from home is true then real Jax could pretty well be homeless right now,assuming he's still even alive.
Another problem that would be raised for some,shipwise especifically,is age-gap,especially jerterdoll and maybe bunnydoll(Kinger ships too,but barely nobody ships him with the other members already).The show takes place in 2017,real Pomni entered the circus this year,at 25 years old,we got confirmation Ragatha entered the circus in 2008 at 30 years old,meaning real Ragatha now has 39 years and both have a age gap of 14 years(only 4 years smaller than the age gap of circus Ragatha and Kinger).Jax and her already had a gap of 8 years and that would only stay the same if he entered the circus in the same year Ragatha entered,somenthing unlikely,considering he knows about breaking bad and Ragatha doesn't,meaning he's from a time the series already got mainstream.
