Little reminders
Eating 1000 calories is better than a binge Eating 500 calories is better than eating 1000 Eating does not = binging
Maintaining weight is better than gaining Losing .1 is better than losing nothing Losing half a pound is better than nothing Not losing 1-2 lbs a day does not = failure
Doing only stretches and nothing else is better than not doing anything. Walking the dog once is better than only doing stretches Doing a short workout is better than no workout at all Not having a heavy workout day does not = doing nothing
Having one happy thought is better than none Being anxiety free for one 5 minute period is better than none Having a panic attack or episode does not = ruined day
Doing one piece of schoolwork is better than doing none Reading 5 pages of a book is better than reading none Doing part of your school work is better than doing none or a little Doing something is better than nothing Not doing everything in a day does not = day wasted
Not everyday is perfect
In fact most days aren’t
At the spot you are at now maybe no day is perfect
But little changes and little steps deserve praise
Any improvement is worth noting
Something is better than nothing
What to do if you wanna date me
Pull my hair and call my skinny

WHAT TO DO IF YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE FAINTS
Warning signs of fainting include
Pale, cool, and sweaty skin
Lightheadedness or dizziness
A slow pulse
Nausea
Frequent yawning
Feeling of restlessness
Tightness in the chest
Palpitations (feeling/hearing your heart pounding)
If this happens, sit or lie down. Put your head between your knees to promote blood flow to the brain.
DO NOT
Slap, shake, or throw water on the victim
Place a pillow under the head
Attempt to move a person unnecessarily
Try to make an unconscious person sit or stand up
Never leave an unconscious person unattended at any time. If necessary, ask someone else to call 911.
Those who faint usually regain consciousness within seconds to minutes
ALWAYS make sure you have a fast acting carbohydrate on you. Orange juice, LifeSavers, (NOT DIET) soda, dried fruits (raisins), bananas, glucose gel/tablets, energy bars, rice cakes, pretzels, other candies. EAT THESE AS SOON AS YOU FEEL FAINT OR RIGHT AFTER YOU PASS OUT AND ARE 100% SURE THAT YOU CAN SWALLOW WITHOUT CHOKING
No ones gonna like this (except Emily) but I’ve been trying to get back in the swing and I’m doing amazing!!!
